Hi Guys.
I got this PM from one of my readers. So after getting her permission, I am posting this.
I need your opinions. If you all also feel the same please let me know. That way, I can figure out what to do.

Ma'am, your writing skills are amazing. I simply love the way you take the story forward while balancing all the family relationships in parallel. It is not an easy task and you deserve my sincere appreciation for that. But today, I wanted to contact you and share my views with you and hence registered with India Forums.

Just one thing I would like to add. Please don't take it the wrong way. It has become very difficult for me to keep up with 4 (and now 5) FFs in parallel. And your updates are also not frequent. You give chapters for all FFs alternatively and I end up getting confused as to what the actual story is! Every time your chapter is posted, I have to go back and refresh the storyline and then again come back to read the latest chapter. I am just curious. Why do you do it? I mean, how you write a particular story is completely up to you. But by handling so many things at one time, are you not doing the readers injustice? why so many at one time? Instead, why don't you write one, give the updates for that FF as frequently as you can and finish it and then start another one? It would make it easier for us also. I do not know how many of your other readers are facing this problem but please believe me when I say that it is a genuine problem. I apologize if my comments hurt you but I used to wait for each and every one of your updates previously even when I was close to my due date. But now, I am just losing the interest. May be because I am not a multi tasker? I don't know.

Even if you post one chapter a month I have no issues...its worth waiting for...but i would prefer 1-2 stories at a time...

This was my reply to her:

Thank you for your Feedback. It is very much appreciated.
Please don't worry about offending me. I can understand what you are saying.
Actually its was very unconscious on my part. You see I am an avid reader and At any one point I have between 4-6 books that I read at one time. I keep them in different parts of the house and pick up a book wherever I am. Iguess I was just acting according to my nature.
As far as the frequency of my updates is concerned, then I am afraid that I have no excuse.
You are right. Of late I have been unable to post as often as I would like. Things at home have just gotten busy.
At this point I don't know what to do. But I am open to suggestion.
If you will permit me to post your PM on the forum, I can get everyones opinion on the matter.

what to do. Can you all help me please.😕

Frankly speaking I too read 2-3 books at a time ,depends on my mood at that particular time which book to read and then i pick that one . so personally i dont hve any problem with your way of writing Anu.
for few others it might be different.
one chapter for each ff in atleat 15 days would be wonderful...that is my opinion.
And dont worry much about it...it is always fun to read the previous chapter again. Writers mood is equally or rather more important.
so pl continue as you wish.

Honestly speaking, Anudidi, I dont have any problem with you posting 4-5 diff. stories' updates one after another. I remember everything that I read once & even if I get to read next update after months, I dont find any trouble like refreshing the story so far. And I also read many books at a time one after another, so, keeping track of 4-5 stories is not a big deal for me at all. But for other readers it might be different. So, you can decide based on majority of opinions.

I know it's like being unfair to you & I have not been your regular reader as well but just a suggestion: Could you please update your chapters little faster? Wait time seems to be killing many a times...

Hi anu ,
Even i feel the same, i too wish that u handle at the maximum two FF's at a time so that we don't loose the track of the FF as we almost wait for 1 to 1.5 months for the next chapter. I too wish that you finish any of your two FF's n continue the other two and if u can please update frequently the waiting time is KILLING us and you know why that's all only because of your beautiful writing style and your mind-blowing story line.
I am not criticizing your method but i am only suggesting you a different method that will make all the readers glued to your FF's. I am not wanting to hurt in any way but i am just trying to put up my thoughts and i am sorry if my comments hurt you.

Anu...
even i was curious to know as to how u manage to write all different FFs at one time..😆
bt u r not new.. one FF writer who also i m a huge fan did the same thing..she had 4 FFs going at the same time.. and i had no problem reading it..coz i liked and followed two of the stories which captured my attention.. Bt tht FF writer had huge huge huge fan base... and all her stories were loved equally...
regarding ur issue, frankly i do not need to go back to ur stories..
bcoz:
1. For me, ur style of writing and the story u chose is pretty captivating.. it captures my complete attention..
2. I read with complete absorption into thing i m reading, esp something tht really gets me into it.. my mind automatically refreshes the story by itself and i have no problem relating to the characters of DC or characters of SOL or TTFwen u update... I guess reading is more according to the mood and character of a reader (jst like a writer)
i think writing comes out naturally and every writer has her own style.. i dont know if one can deliver if its not natural... at least it doesnt work for me...I cant write wen i m not in mood.. I cannot give a fixed time, coz i write wen i really feel like writing.. and i cannot say wen some really fascinating idea wud stuck in my mind.. also i cant write two stories at a time.. coz my mind dwells on the characters and story i m writing.. hence all of us has distinct style.. and pulls a different set of readers..
I think its upto readers to choose the story thy want to read and writer whose style thy like..(this i feel as a reader)
Frankly, i didnt start ur latest FF bcoz the story didnt fascinate me as such and i didnt wanted to start on another one, whcih i wudnt b able to follow due to time constraints.. bt definitely DC is best among the one u have written.. and i m definitely going to follow it.. TTF has reached at a point wer it has satisfied a reader's curiosity and imagination..and hence u got PMs stating tht y u ended this story..😆.. coz the crux of the story was how thy got back together.. SOL again has reached a certain point wat readers expected..😳
personally its a writer's criteria wat one expects from a reader or from one's ownself..
I write to satisfy my surge..😆.. and i m humbled tht many ppl have appreciated it and it had been a wonderful learning experience for me..😳
okay so u read multiple novels at a time..
well i shudnt complain such readers.. ppl did read my FF in all these FFs..😆
bt essentially books is always one at a time for me!
bt FFs.. many at a time.. in fact the intermediate time betn two FFs gives reader a time to switch betn many FFs thy r reading..
many a times.. v all have updated a chapter almost simultaneously and i often wondered as to how the readers manage to read all these at one time!😆 and thn thy have to comment and reply!
As a reader its tuff.. 😆
as a writer.. u keep expecting more!😳
u also answered my other curious question.. how do u manage to give ur reviews on each new update on all FFs OSs given on this forum.. wen u r writing so many FFs and being so busy with ur personal life..
so for ur efforts.. a huge beary hug!🤗
its upto u to decide.. essentially ur decision shudnt affect ur writing.. if it does, the change is not worth..i feel!😳
