I think she is just doing the puja stuff. She doesn't know legal paperwork and all. ( Dev also came to know only after Bijoy said so🙄🤭). Even if she wants to change his name officially on paper, it is impossible to do so without parent's approval. Yesterday's episode, Dev said Ayush's adoption is complete and everything is done. That means his surname must have gotten changed too. He is officially Devakshi's son and Ishwari cannot change anything about him legally without both their signatures. (Obviously Sona won't sign anything ever, even if Dev gets swayed and blackmailed by his mother!)

Ishwari is just doing puja and will insist everyone can him Ved at home. Outside, she doesn't care.

That would make Ved his nickname. It won't change his "actual name" which Ishwari is aiming for😆 But yeah! Probably Ishwari doesn't even realise it 😆

It would have been a delight if it happened before Ishwari puttar Dev😆 But since Sonakshi is going to discover it, there's this possibility that Badha Dev wouldn't even know that his Mother was changing her chota Dev's name. All he would get to know (either from Mami or his mother herself) that Sonakshi insulted Ishwari over a small puja & he would come & shout on Sonakshi only 🥱

Sonakshi clearly told Ishwari that she wouldn't change Ayush's name, Dev also promised Ayush the same so I am assuming even Dev wouldn't want to change Ayush's name. So Ishwari have decided to hide it from them & do it without letting them know. But how? Calling a pandit & doing a puja is enough?🤔 Wouldn't Ayush need to present in it?😕 And Ayush will definitely inform Devakshi. At least Sonakshi for sure.

And even if the puja is done, what about the legal procedure? They need to get an affidavit declaring the name change & get a new copy made of all his documents with the new name. How is Ishwari planning to achieve all that without involving Devakshi? 🤓

She just a control freak if u ask me. For god sack give the poor kid a break and give him time to adjust to the family doesnt just happen over right. And he cant foget his grand parents who he has been with most of his life how can she expect that.

If I was Sona I wudve got another pooja done right infront of Ishwari devi and change his name back to Ayush. The creatives always show Dev forcing Sona to bend infront of his mom 😡
