the bottomline being ..they are not just your regular couple in love..it is indeed complicated...as someone had said his past had messed him up bad..not so much the heartbreak but the betrayal,humiliation that came like a storm and broke him...hence we can never see him singing songs with her especially not for the world to see...that does not mean he loves her any less ...erica has tremendous respect for shaheer..and it is not an obligation..he has earned it..if today she trusts him more than anything it is because he has earned it through his character and conduct...her parents trust him enough that he takes her daughter out and comes visiting her home ...coz he has earned that respect and trust ...but will he be that wild ,crazy uninhibited boy of 2014 before the world...no he changed to some extent ,became tough,stronger and cautious...yet he does not love her any less...just because he does not send her love messages on sns or clicks intimate pics or vidoes with her like he did with DB...one cannot measure a relationship like that...DB and erica are two different person ...she is not a replacement ...shaheer respects her immensely to treat her anything less...as for erica..here is a young girl who is being constantly compared to his ex ,measured against her and bashed mercilessly...at some corner of her heart it does prick..she is a 24 year old girl ,do not expect her to behave like an aged experienced individual and it is alright to feel bad ,alright to react...that does not make her anything less nor her emotions...she knew very well what she got into with shaheer and she has till now dealt with it with utmost dignity ...one of her qualities i most admire...her dignified conduct...with each other they are not some teen kids experiencing gushing emotions...it is much deeper and complex than that...there will be days when they do not wish to fight it and days when they together fight it...that is called relationship ...and it happens to people...so let them deal with it the way they think is right,make their mistakes ,learn from it and eventually decide if all this is worth it ..you and me...God bless them coz i know they know it is all worth it ...Amen ...
