I agree with your post except the bold part.. According to me Dev (2) = Ishwari; Soha = Dev (1) and Jatin = Sona. In short Soha is to Dev what Dev was and is to Ishwari.. just like Ishwari didn't like when Sona made Dev happy. Dev doesn't like to see Jatin as a reason for Soha's happiness.

the comparision works two ways...
if you see Dev as someone who is genuinely making attempts to win and make space for him (he is the new member in the relationship) then jatin = ishwari and dev =sona

If Dev starts to behave all insecure and obsessed with Soha just because he is her biological father and demand that jatin be removed so that he can have an exclusive bond with soha... then he will be just like ishwari

so lets see which path Dev will choose ... will he chose to win over soha with the help of Jatin or will he chose to demand haqs based on blood relationships and completely remove jatin

Lol ohh trust me knowing our dev babu.. he will go for #2 but sona will not give into his haws and tantrums.. so he will have to take the difficult route #1 to win soha over and that is when he will understand what sonakshi had to go thru at his home to make space for herself in dev-ish relationship

Firstly Dev is learning what all his daughter likes.. secondly not o even compare ish food with Dev because ish knows cooking and making food for him doesn't make special but Dev being a vegetarian cooking a non veg for his daughter is special.. i know this doesn't make a good father but is one of the qualities of a father..

Secondly father should know to respect daughter's mother agree and similarly mother should even respect daughter father then only she becomes good mother.. do remember one time it's Dev fault in did respecting Sona means the next turn it's Sona s turn of disrespecting Dev.. both are on equal terms..

And Dev is trying to be a father first after hat let's think of being a good father or bad ones...

And till now we dint see Sona cooking food for Soha only once they have shown Sona making sandwich for Soha...

@bold, neither should a father genuinely cooking (he randomly went to kitchen and got to know about soha's favorite dish and did, don't know how it his bribing) for his kid should be ridiculed and labeled as bribe... the same child can notice how her mother and grandfather are accusing her father and can hold grudge for them too as kids are not biased as adults, but they seem least bothered about it. As of I don't think Dev told anything to Jatin regarding his stay in Bose house.. as of precap he was just asking mother of his daughter how she is gong help to bond with his daughter when Jatin is taking his time...more than Jatin staying in bose house , him getting less time to bond with his daughter is his concern...

If Sona had informed the biological dad as soon as she found herself pregnant, I am sure the said "father" would have spent all his time bonding with his daughter! Jatin was given the opportunity!

His animosity and resentment towards Jatin is ugly and obvious, Jatin is being friendly to him but hes answering rudely everytime.

If Dev was a decent normal guy he would have been grateful that Jatin helped Sona and her family during their difficult times.

He doesnt care at all for what Sona went through to bring up Soha, he just wants to somehow capture Soha's affection by all these stunts like cooking for her.

Dev has no business hiding the truth but thats what he has done all along, Lie and hide truths and cause more problems in Sona's life.

of course Dev was uncomfortable with Jatin's presence in his daughter's life..and that doesn't make him ugly for me..

Sona in her bad times gets help from her best friend, and Dev should be grateful to Jatin for that ..😕
