Today's episode proved me one thing very clearly ..Sona is damn scared and she is fast loosing that grip of her self-made righteous image. Summer camp may be that final straw for her😉. Ever since she met Dev after 7 years she is constantly fighting between her mind and heart to gauge him which can be seen clearly from her conversation with Asha and others. I feel Sona opens up her true feelings only to Asha and holds her facade strongly in front of others including Bijoy and Dev !!

She was surely shell shocked and surprised seeing Dev asking her permission and before her heart melts did you all hear what she said? " Guess what you couldn't surprise me even now Dev". I was like "chal jhooti"😆 She was totally smitten by this Dev and wants something genuine to reignite her anger and Dev's slip up of window entry gave her perfect excuse 😳 I am seeing this pattern for quite some time now..Sona slipping up by Dev's actions but covering up saying "She knows him well and he hasn't change a bit" when in fact the alternate is creating havoc in her mind😉

Sona is trying to be as ruthless as Dev by hitting him with brutal "Can't be a good father tag" but she has no idea how sooner she is going to eat the same humble pie which Dev is eating now for uttering those same exact words on that fateful night!! A crack in her perfection have already started with that "sole responsible for not knowing about kid" clause, because the more ruthless both behave , the more angst and hurt we are going to see once they get to know their faults and their bond will strengthen more only after realizing those faults😳. So for now am excited to see both doing some goof ups !

Some how I feel both are irritated to see each other's love for Suhana than for one another respectively 😉 Sona is pissed to see her position replaced by Suhana when Dev mentioned "hamari duniya" on friday and similarly Dev on Sona when she mentioned "We both make each other perfect and you have no place in that" ..such babies I tell you😆

I see some disappointment here regarding Suhana's behavior with Ishwari but I will say kids do behave like that when they hold up something. Even my 7 yr old who loves being pampered by me and his dad will never like my inlaws trying to feed him and bluntly refuse saying "yuck..I can eat myself" whenever we visit India but thats not the case with my parents. Very simple logic , kids avert when they are forced, no matter how much ever we try to make them understand , they have their own set of mind and timeline to allow certain relationships to reach certain boundaries. For Suhana, Ishwari as "Aunty" was more approachable but not as "Daadi" because this is lifetime commitment and not some stranger whom she can please for one day and forget about. Similarly for her Dev as a friend was more approachable as Dev as "papa" because of her preconceived notion. Also this behavior is necessary to highlight Golu's and how flawed Suhana is as well😳

Ok enough gyaan for today😆 DQ do I see chiseled biceps suddenly or my brain freeze mind creating havoc with rain-wet tee?😲 ..please enlighten!!😆

Hi guys, I am back 😊. I was following this thread quietly all this while, didn't post anything mostly because I had been too busy (and I hate that... isly aaj subh-subh post kar diya😉) and you guys did fabulous analysis that I could just read and marvel 😳.

I have read the previous pages as well (wonder analysis guys 👏), and I couldn't agree more that there are undertones of Sona-Dev separation scene at the farmhouse in yesterday's May-I-take-Suhana- with-me scene.

I would like to point out few things too.

1. Dev had come to get Suhana for Sonakshi's house in the evening, when all the courts are already closed. Then Sonakshi calls her lawyer to get her "guarantee" and the lawyer promptly arrives. And this sets me thinking that Sonakshi had already got the paper made and was looking for an opportunity to get them signed by Dev. Dev being impulsive by nature (especially when it comes to emotions) readily provides that opportunity to her and Sona plays her masterstroke.

I must say, she has become one heck of a bussiness-women, turning 'problems' (according to Boses, esp Bijoy) into opportunities. She seems to have transformed from Ms. Khargosh to Ms. Aubhodro. 😆

2. Now, why would Sonakshi want Dev to sign any such paper, apart from the her and her family's arising insecurities? Sona's explanation to her mother was quite logical - that she didn't want Soha to face what she faced 7 years ago. But I am not convinced that was her real motivation.

I feel Sonakshi was looking for an opportunity to hurt Dev the way he hurt her, to inflict the same wounds on him (sirf Mai tumhe hurt kar sakta/sakti hu *fangirling*😳😆), not to really hurt and break him but to feel her pain, somewhere subconsciously.

True, there are lots of parallels between prenup agreement and subsequent separation and yesterday's contract scenes.

Sonakshi had lost her house to Ishwari Enterprises. She contacted Dev in the farmhouse only to be handed the prenup agreement. Dev told her it is good she can't be a mother, otherwise she would have never been a good mother. These wounds are still fresh in her mind. And that is what she put Dev through yesterday.

She said he is only a biological father, she doesn't know whether he could become good father in real sense. She makes him sign a contract that makes him lose his everything, legally - his daughter Suhana - whom he thinks the most important lady of his life (not second most, he said this to Golu). The contract like the prenup agreement fanned the fire of mutual distrust between them. Dev felt almost exactly how Sonakshi felt on seeing Dev's signature on prenup papers.

I don't know if it was only me, but I saw Sonakshi well-up momentarily when Dev proceeded to sign even without reading it and how Dev looked at Sonakshi when he read its contents. Both must have been reminded of the fateful night and another legal paper's role in their separation, the prenup.

3. Dev called Bijoy Baba and not Mr. Bose, and it seemed involuntary slip. This gives a window into how Dev still had been subconsciously connected to Sona all this while, which explains his jealousy towards Jatin, humari beti etc. (Misti pointed this out too😊) BTW, Sona too said humari beti yesterday, only to contradict her words the next moment with the contract.

Will post more if anything strikes my mind. Thanks for reading.

Hi everyone, I have not seen the episode but stil I want to put certain points based on the written update. Now coming to the agreement between dev and sona related to soha it is having various, aspects if we think practically then I feel whatever happened is, correct because, it will protect the soha from ishu mata and it will be, opening point for the next dev and ishu mata's conferentstion. Now yesterday for all the devashki fans, in next few days you will see dev and sona together Atlest emotionally and it get sure by vicki and elena fight
So now elena will the person who will tell dev's innocence to the sona and Bose family with the context of pernup and Bose family's home isshu. And she will be the one by which the changed dynamic between ishu and dev will get limelight. If I am not mistaken some how elena will come to know about of the role of vicki ang gkb in dev and sona's sepeation and she will decide to leave vicki and I think Bose will allow her in there house with golu by which dev will also get welcomed due to his and golu's strong relation
Which will definatily change the dynamics between dev , sona, soha and golu. I know dev is, not at the fault in case, of soha but I still don't want soha sholud come to dixit niwas, near ishu. So it is always a better option that dev will come to Bose house to meet both golu and soha.
Now would like to put my thoughts for the agreement between dev and sona. Here for the first time sona has accepted her fear to lose soha and same will be done by dev when he accepts he gone to soha's room and they have an argument. Which is a good sign from future point of view and both has taken the, steps to ensure that there fear should not harm soha by adding the, legal aspect in this, matter at the point dev and sona are hart but they both have accepted each others right on soha. Actually dev was more hart because of the clause related to the he can harm soha some how I fell he was ok with the clause related to the role of sona and Bose family on soha. By signing he try to give the assurence to sona but more than to bijoy as, at this moment he insecure abut soha and for sona
This, will automatically stop ishu mata, when she will try to claim the forceful right on the soha. This is, also the impact of ishu's dialog related to asal and soot. That's what I feel. One more thing I like there is a lot of difference in the signing the documents without knowing ang get cheated by the mother by will break the trust and have a, grater impact annd be open about the fear and signing the documents by knowing the terms and, conditions. This papers, will get destroyed by sona in future when they act as a team and trust each other in case of soha. But at this moment practical approach is, saying what ever happened, is, correct.
I know, it is, unfair, at dev the dev's, side, but if we think logically he is, paying the price he never try to stop his mother and other family members and there interference and not taken the stand for right so this is the outcome. Today when I get time I will see the episode and add the points, if required.

Just a few random thoughts:
Today I really enjoyed the tashan becasue both Dev and Sona were prepared for it and gave their best. It wasn't one of them completely steamrollering the other, and they both had valid points and questions. I am very, very glad someone finally sought legal help in this situation, and the agreement also seemed fair, except for the clause that Dev had to take responsibility for not knowing of Soha's existence. That was really a low blow as many of you have pointed out. I love the way Dev glanced up at her when he read that, but her mask was on overdrive and her face inscrutable.

@bold.. unfortunately for me I felt Sona kind of steamrollered Dev. She's in a position of power over him because of Soha's allegiance to her and she took full advantage of that today which I did not like. I kind of wish Dev had said more in rebuttal. If Dev is sneaking in the house its because Sona is acting as a supervisor judging when he can and cannot visit his own daughter. No one second guessed Sona's access to her child, why does she feel "entitled" to monitor Dev's? Did Sona ask Dev's permission to introduce her parents to Soha? So I think she was completely wrong to have made Dev sign those papers. Dev's reaction to me proved he never had any intention of stealing Soha away. So I find it really hard to justify Sona. Even if at the end she could've displayed a little bit of humility that she wasn't sure if getting Dev to sign those papers was really necessary. Something to humanize the character.

Sona made me go through a roller-coaster of emotions today. I was really proud that she empowered herself through the law, but her refusal to admit her role in this situation is getting a little scary for me. Like I have mentioned before, what I wanted most from Sona was an acknowledgment that she deliberately concealed Soha from Dev. If you make a decision, own it and fight for your right to have made it, given the circumstances you were in at that time. The way she is victimising herself in this particular situation doesn't sit well with me; that is not the sign of an empowered person.

I have the exact same issue. Because of the fact that she doesn't own any of her own flaws or decisions she coming very close in characterization to a covert or vulnerable narcissist. Someone who blames their decisions on other people's actions instead of taking ownership. Ishwari is very much like that. But Sona is displaying many traits of it especially with her preoccupation with her own perfection. Vulnerable narcissist tend to oscillate between superiority and inferiority in relation to others.

BUT I loved the part where she insisted that Dev read the papers. In that moment, I could see a glimpse of the Sona who knew Dev's weaknesses -- as she told Asha later, his lack of control on his emotions -- and pre-empted them intelligently.

I feel like she told him to read the papers as a show of authority over him. She was forcing him to read that he was the wrong one. But as much as Sona was trying to take power away from Dev, his reaction felt empowering.

Dev had already made the decision that he would never snatch Soha away from her mom. He already said earlier that if he had to remove himself for his daughter's happiness he would do so. That to me was the real parent. Sona is claiming that Dev doesn't have control over his emotions, yet within that very scene he was so calm and goal oriented in a moment where a lot of people (myself included) would've blown up.

In fact, Sona's the one reacting on the emotion of fear limiting her child's happiness in the process. One of the earlier scenes that struck me was the one where Soha tells Dev there is no such thing as prince and princesses. Sona is so jaded that she's only teaching her daughter about the brain. She's not teaching her how to have a balance between the brain and the heart. So her sense of entitlement on Soha and her belief that she is raising Soha "perfectly" is really bothering me today.

@ Mallika. Awesome amazing post... 👏 👏 . I am lost for words to show appreciation. I am feeling like Sonakshi is taking it too far. Her words to Asha that she did what she felt as right even today did not make it better. It's like she has forgotten what empathy is. It is like she just wants to prove that she is the right as Bijoy always said or maybe it is for herself. I mean she knows she is wrong, but does not want to admit it to herself so act this way and justify that I was right.

I liked Saurabh's words today and it seems like a prelude to Bose family facade cracking up. Bijoy is quickly losing his grip and will pretty soon will act in a similar way like Ishwari. I mean he will start using Sonakshi's name behind her without her being the wisest like how Dev is.

Summer camp sounds interesting especially since one of the spoilers said that Golu and Soha lock Dev and Sonakshi in a room for the whole night. 😳 😉 😛

Thanku Shaavi Dq n others for the brilliant writeups...i was fuelled off yest n with a clear mind watched the episode again, went thru the analysis here...im much more calmer n Boy it did help me to see in much more positive outlook..
For me i feel Dev's journey to a GOOD FATHER has already started n wat better proof is that he had signed the contract giving away his hold, his rights n Authority on his kid...n Secondly owning to the mistake which he wasnt aware of n taking the sole responsibilty speaks about the hurdles that he would HAPPILY cross to ensure the safety n security for Suhana, even if he has to withhold his love or stay away from her...!

I think people kind of misunderstood me. I am not angry nor I deny the fact that kids eating by themselves is bad. It was the way she said it. Ishu is beyond, but to me she seems like a patient and with neurological and psychological issues she is not out of the ordinary. As a girl I don't feel bad but as a patient I do. I did not like Soha's way in this situation as it seemed just kind of mean. I have mentioned that if soha accepts the first bite than says this then I am good, but by spoiler she questions Dev as a baby, so I am not having high hopes. If this was Soha's character, I won't feel as bad but Soha (or mini Dev) keeps two faces: what she wants and what her mother wants. Soba without Bose influence is fine for being fed, feeding others and actually being treated as a child. But Soha with Bose influence seems to be a matured older kid. This mask is what Dev suffered through. Maybe if Devakshi were together Sona would not have created this situation as the situation would have mirrored his, that's what made me frown at the stealing of childhood by Dev.
I am not a basher, and I was not trying to hurt anyone! This is what I felt.

Yes, he was. She may have had trouble finding the right ways to express that to him, but there were many instances where she prioritiesed Dev over BIjoy during their marriage. I think the strongest evidence for this was when she sent Bijoy and Asha home after the fake pregnancy reveal, saying that she and Dev had to figure it out as a unit. Moreover, she opened up to Dev quite a few times, either through humour or earnestly, that Bijoy was a difficult person to deal with. Dev did not show the same candidness/humour where his family was concerned at that was a big problem for their relationship.

The Sona-Bijoy relationship is very curious. He oscillates in her mind between this demigod/perfect father and a caricature whom the entire Bose family -- including Soha -- make fun of. I think when Sona feels independent and capable, she sees the latter and is able to identify Bijoy's flaws and how she suffers for them. But when she is most vulnerable and needs to feel safe, she uses this image of Bijoy as the perfect father to as a shield, and a model for her behaviour.

Hi all, I'm bak after 2 wks , (sudden absconding from IF due to an unexpected India visit ) & as usual wonderful discussions 👏
Yesterday sonakshi startled me along with dev with her " soha guarantee " papers. But I'm nt gonna blame her becoz she's very well aware of ishwari ma's insecurities n manipulations & the vulnerability of dev wen facing maa's emotional black mailing. Sonakshi is nt even aware of dev's indifferent behaviour towards his maa . But after knowing bout soha, dev is nearly bak to square one , i'm afraid, even though v r getting some minimal doses of "rehne de maa " etc. Sonakshi very well knew that dev luvs soha unconditionally & will never harm her knowingly or unknowingly . But since dixit mansion is nt suitable for sane people due to some known n unknown reasons, sonakshi might b afraid to send soha alone , even though she's with her father . Also sona can assume that since ishwari maa is inversely proportional to dev's fondness which is soha in this case, wat if maataji got insecured ?? But poti will eventually make changes in ishwari & help her get rid of her insecurities, I hope.

Sona made dev to read the conditions & poor fellow had nothing but to sign it without any hesistance but accused sonakshi for stooping to the very low level. Wen v look into the prenup & this contract , in the former a mother safeguarded her son( parivar ) from his wife in a deceitful way & in latter a mother safeguarded a daughter from her father ( parivar ) in a straight forward way. Wen ishwari will get to know bout this contract, she'll straightly blame sonakshi . Then i want dev to make ishwari understand the negative impact she had done with deceitful signing of prenup by dev which was the main cause of his shattered luv life.

Dev's intrusion into the bose house is nt @ all appealing , infact it looks creepy @ times. Anyone can barge any time & can even kidnap soha or sona ..even saurav 😆 It's nt a good thing wen a father figure does such things but v'll appreciate that if a lover boy doing the same 😛 Hippocricy @ it's best !!! 😉

Dev- bijoy confrontation . Dev called him baba but that didn mellow papa bose . Evn bijoy told dev that wat else can he show other than hatred . Though bijoy easily gets hyperventilated these days, he's very open n genuine .( I still remember that mussoorie ki kasam days..kya din dhe voh..sweet bondings of dev n boses ) No pretence unlike ish mataji. Ishwari is still on " maine kya kiya " mode . During that "thod phod dixit"day , wen sona met mataji in front of lift, she told ishwari that ishwari didn want sona in dev's life but mataji is like wat did i do...

Glad that elena understands her hubby n tolerates him for the sake of golu. Vicky n GKB.. Y wasting time on them ?🤪

Precap can sometimes b misleading..but lets wait n watch !
