I was watching the old episodes verses the new episodes of the last 2 weeks. To be honest, I am more confused. All over twitter I saw team dev/sonakshi/devakshi, but I don't know. All I know is that both of them have lost the quality both fell in love with post leap. In one of the episodes, Asha tells Sona that she fell in love with Dev because of his caring nature, how he puts everyone before himself. And if I am correct, I believe that Dev loved Sona due to her understanding nature, how she analyzes everyone's situation before commenting on anything. As I watched the break up episode, I think everyone had a part to play. I feel like Dev's flaw, is the quality of not being emphatic he has an inferiority complex, due to the constant guilt trips his family imposes on him. Because he is a introvert, he does not share his emotions and thoughts to anyone causing him to bottle them up and blow at the wrong time. He is so caught up in pleasing his mother to get rid of the guilt he faces that he does not care about anything else, as Sona puts it, temporary solutions. His ignorance caused him to not understand the pain his wife was facing, I think if he had stopped thinking about pleasing everyone and actually lived the way his emotions are, he wouldn't have lost so much. I think to make that point across, he is living for himself. I don't think Dev was spineless, I feel like he has lost his own voice. His mother at a very young age proved to him that his decisions are bad and that mother knows best. This causes his own wishes to be locked away, and when he is alone he feels bad for himself, causing him to ignore others feelings as he feels bad for himself. This domino causes him to commit unjustifiable actions, that's why I wished CVs showed Sona trying to help him realize his emotions. If someone showed the way Dev was, maybe things would not have escalated this badly.
