'Chehra aaina hota hai, aur kabhi jhooth nahi bolta'.. Par sabko chehrey padna aata to baat hi kya hoti!

This was today's episode's key takeaway for me 😉

The main highlight of today's episode was Neha for me. Truly, she is one unlucky girl. Neither her mom nor her loving brother understood her true feelings, her husband failed her (to a certain extent) and to top it all, she shot herself in the foot when she passed a jibe at Sona on the breakfast table. The only person, sonakshi, who was her true well-wisher was also pushed away.

Take a bow CVs - all this while we speculated and kept on thinking how Neha's role with transpire. What I saw today pretty much sums it - neha will be exposed to the mirror of reality, witnessing the reflection of real essence of marriage lies in unquestionable companionship, despite the highs and lows that a couple goes through.

I am pretty sure that neha ranveer will be made to patch up - thanks to Neha's realisation as she witnesses her bhai-bhabhi's bonding.

The episode was fabulously done, subtle and impactful. The implications of the complications that senior most dixits will hit them where it will hurt the most, coz it will take an 'outsider' to fix their inner most fear of losing - this outsider will show them the true mirror /aaina of their identities as wwell as their numerous follies.

Lastly, Kudos to Dev and Sona (in today's episode) for their honest, sincere, never ending love for each other. Looking at them, I truly feel ke 'jinkey dil sacchey hote hain, woh sabke favorite hotey hain'!

I am not really going into 'who is wrong and who is right' but just trying to justify your 'unquestionable companionship' point.

Ranveer might have failed to understand Neha but it was Neha who took first step to break this relationship and call for a divorce.

I don't know the extent of torture that Neha suffered in Ranveer's poverty striken family but

Is it just me who thinks that Divorce has become extremely casual and common in modern age(similar to the word 'Katti' during our childhood times)?😕

You made some very good point. Here's another thing I found significant today following up on her point.. Sona has always been Dev's mirror to reality. She was the one who always put things into perspective and provided much needed clarity of thoughts when Dev's brain failed to go beyond his past experiences and upbringing.

Today I felt she did the same when she decided to stick the note on the mirror. Now if you recall, Dev doesn't stand in front of mirror as much being a man who is not at all concerned about his appearance.

But, he stands in front of mirror when his life is about to take significant turn as in turning point.

He stood in front of the mirror when he realized that he has fallen in love with Sona. He stood in front of the mirror when he was getting ready for Sona's engagement party and he stood in front of mirror where Sonakshi has stuck her note.

Why of all places, Sona stuck her note on the mirror? She could have stuck it on the table where he keeps his laptop or left it by his bedside table. But she chose the mirror.

In my opinion, she literally showed him the mirror regarding the discrepancy in his actions and words and how it is reflecting on her. I think that was a very significant strategic point that hit home.

Very good point. I also felt that Neha might start realising that there is so much to a marriage that she is throwing away.

And sticking the note to the mirror is a good point you both make. Well noted

Don't know about Neha but looks like Cvs are resolving Dev's confusion. Sona is showing him Neha's neglect through her own obduracy; leaving without informing him and then 'refusing' to return at the request. Hope this mirror technique illuminates Dev Babu's blind spot that is Neha. Another matter that Ma will have one more grudge to chew over with the 'usurper'.

Such a beautiful analysis, Sia! Indeed, if the episode had come with a title, it should be titled, "Mirror".

I so agree with you that Neha's superior expression in the guise of an apology is her scream for love. The kind of love where you are the most important person in that person's life. Hence, when she realizes that intensity with which Dev loves Sona at dinner table, her face loses all light and the darkness projects shadows of longing.

Like you, I think Sona's love for Dev and vice-versa will make her reflect about her love for Ranveer and vice-versa.

And yes! the "outsider" maybe the one to finally fix the problem.

In all this, Ishwari is slipping so fast and so hard in my eyes that it is becoming irredeemable. How can a mother stand by and make it happen without having one proper conversation with her daughter about what really matters in life or not enabling a meeting between Neha-Ranveer to see if their could be redeemed.

I absolutely loved today's episode. The conflicts and their consequences and learnings that are yet to come were/are so finely tuned to reflect human emotions, situations, actions and reactions.

I know what you mean - I wish the CVs had atleast explored neha ranveer's issues a bit further for viewers to form a more formidable opinion. But guess they unfold the mystery in their own way.

Divorce - you are totally right, even I tend to use this word in casual terms, though I am nowhere close to the implementing it in reality 😉.

What was also surprising for me is the way Dev mentioning it in a similar fashion to Sona. The guy really doesn't think before saying! He forgot all the pain and craziness he inflicted upon himself when he broke off with Sona, LOL.

Bravo tia! Mirror truly holds a lot of significance for devakshi. Loved all the inferences drawn tthrough it. To add to this, the first physicality that came by between the two of them in the gajra scene - the multiple mirror views in that sequence was a sight to watch.
