^^ wow.. glad to see there are people who are thinking like me. I have been watching this show from day one and sometimes visit this section to know what people think about this show. When it began it looked so different from all other shows. But now sometimes it seems just like other shows.. which I stay away from for a reason
Dev's character has made a complete U turn.. that too overnight. He was this serious, workaholic, introvert, all about business kind of person. And suddenly he is dropping these cheesy lines like "you complete me".. it looks so out of character for Dev. I understand he is in love for the first time but according to his character it should be more subtle. All their romantic interactions look so forced and artificial.. just what I hate about many other shows. And like TM said.. Sonakshi's character they already butchered long back.. that was when she agreed to be a slave to Dev's mother and slowly became a slave to the whole family. She is a doctor for god's sake. Her job is to make a chart for her patient as per their reports. It's not her responsibility to feed her patient.. and then entertain her daughters and then take crap from Radharani and her useless son 😡Only characters I like right now are Neha and Radharani. Because they are the same since beginning.. 👍🏼 Neha is not perfect like Dev and Sonakshi that's why she feels more real.. and Radharani is loud and crass but she speaks sense sometimes 😆Overall.. it's still better than many other shows and I still like it. I am glad that the conflict has already started because all that artificial romance was making me nauseous 😛
wow look who's here! 😆🤗I have to disagree, this is one Indian show I am really liking after ages..I think the romance is very sweet and relatable...they talk like a normal couple would and that's what I like about this show..it's real..the post confession scenes of dev and sona have been fantastic..really good writing and nicely enacted by the 2 leads!I agree sona needs to move to a hospital which I am sure will happen soon enough. The story has been interesting so far and I am really looking forward to how they will show dev and sona handling the whole situation!

Topic maker! You stole the words out of my mouth!
Sometimes I wonder whether it's really hard for an Indian serial to maintain a character after they fall in love? I mean isn't the underlying point that you fall in love with your original characteristics/traits intact? I rmbr watching the first week of the episodes and I loved the authority in Sonakshi's character! It was a treat to watch in all honesty! Also I don't think she has to know how to cook in order to be a nutritionist! There job is to truly just make charts and study properties of food. Nothing more really..
Coming to the immaturity displayed by Sonakshi's character! I agree, there really were moments where I was like "stop grab a hold of yourself. Go out and find a new job and move on" bcos in reality, one sided love stories do happen, you don't see majority of people mopping around and crying till 3am in the morning. One day, maybe two, by the third night you will be fine. Chill. I agree didn't appreciate the whole "my first love story ended without starting" phase, mainly bcos I truly think love isnt handled well in Indian tv shows (bcos what they feel isn't love and is infatuation. And yep I am a very critical person in life 🤪). She needs to move out of the Ishwari mansion and find a new job. It's high time that she left the place for at least her own satisfaction (bcos I rmbr an epi where she was talking to her dad about how much she loves her job).
Coming to her acting, she is not too bad in my opinion. It's more the dialogues and plot line that lets Erica down! But I am crossing my fingers (and toes) that the original headstrong, confident and disciplined Sona stands up soon... I truly do believe that Neha has more substance than Sonakshi, but I also believe Neha probably has the best character on the show. Ishwari er meh, it's kind of an periodical cycle that she wants to break and intervene on. I truly believe the CVs have done an amazing job when penning down Neha's character, it's very hard hitting and no matter how bitter she is in the show, she will always make my heart break at her complexity.
Coming to butchering of a character, Dev and Sona have both been butchered. No one in this world with a business to run like dev, ignores their commitments like he does. It's just random to see how a change like that occurs in one night? Already talked about Sona's butchering, Neha too to an extent really (fine line btwn manipulation and bitterness). I don't know why Indian tv serials think making a character fall in love, changes their attitudes and outlook towards life? It's a bit of a "W*F" in my opinion
(Highly controversial point here, please don't bash me.. I actually really liked the confession at a superficial glance, I truly did. Then it set in and one line. One part of the confession really irked me, maybe bcos it's wasn't a very well phrased statement, yet a lot of people seemed to have been appreciating it. Meep, I am just very critical in life and the statement was this "I love you like a man loves a woman." Bro what about a woman loving a woman, a man loving a man, a transgender loving their partner? No? At a superficial level I fangirled and hyperventilated. When it set in, I was majority disappointed. It's not like India has no LGBT community, it was just a very regressive statement in my eyes esp since this Ep aired like a couple of days after the Orlando massacre. And what really irked me was that Durjoy Dutta wrote the confession, I thought the dude was in with the times. Clearly not. Just my opinion on the confession scene, I expected more bcos this show has preached realism since it started. That notion is also dwindling. Peace)

Sona had confidence and attitude before the accident now she seems to have lost all that and I'm hoping she gains her confidence backwhat I actually like about Sona is the very fact that she is real this is exactly how most girls would reactbut I also think she will evolve more in future
OMG.. didn't expect to see anyone I know here 😆😆 Kaisi ho yaar?? 🤗🤗Yeah.. I am also watching any Hindi show after ages.. I still like it for some real characters.. great story line.. superb acting by almost everyone.. And have to mention such subtle background music.. no loud dhan dhan music even for Radharani and her pathetic son 😆😆But I do have complains about cheesy and out of character romance and making a joke of a profession of female lead 😡 good that you enjoy it.. I burst out laughing when I hear Dev say "I live you like a man loves a woman" or "you complete me"😆.. right now me just happy that conflict has finally begun 😛😆

yeah nowadays (after falling in love) they are messing up everything, the show is loosing sense.I agree that love has its own impact in your life but the effect is not that extreme as it is shown in the serial.😲
dev is almost paying all his attention to sona , what about his business?
even sonakshi needs to go back to hospital and act like a proper doctor ! i wonder what she does the whole day in dev's house, what is she being paid for? all she does is asking kichu bhaiya to follow the diet chart she prepares. they should show her to be a hardworking and understanding woman. Dev's secretary Tina looks more perfect for him and even Natasha seemed to be way more better .who else thinks that the performance of the whole Bose family is annoying?...each of them over react! YES, including sonakshi😲. On the other hand the Dixit family is acting too well, each member fits in their character👏they make the show look realistic.
ufff loved the bold parts👏 specially the red one.⭐️ this is what I'm trying to say also but u put it correctly out there.👍🏼 And not to forget, this is the very first time for both the individuals.Originally posted by: ASHREENA
I have to disagree with the author of this topic...and the writers of this show have studied human behavior... Sona started of like every independent woman, she studied hard and became the best in her field...and she was proud of that...she had her opinions and stood by it but when Mr handsome hunk mother fell ill he wanted the best for her and he went after sona...if you remember in earlier episodes he blocked her from all other job offers and interviews...it was the heart to heart talk with my favourite character her father that made her take the job...
It is true that in life you have choices but sometimes these same choices can back u in a corner and the outcome can do more harm than good... She took the job as and end to a mean...she had no high expectations from dev her only goal was to complete the contract and move on...what she did not bargain for was seeing the different shades of dev..and in seeing those shades she began to understand him...and feel in love with him...love makes the strongest individuals weak whether man or woman...and the writers understood this the best...love makes you do silly things and things that are out of ur character...and that has happened to her...the character is not butchered...it presents the side of this strong person coming out of character because they are in love...for those who have experience true love they are the ones who will understand what happened to these to individuals... As for Erica's acting I find nothing wrong with it...she is in character of sona...she nails it all the time...her acting is not dramatised it flows as if Erica and sons is the same...she is good in comparison to what Hindi drama dishes out these days...as for the Bose family they are a breath of fresh air and a very loving family... I always look forward to there scenes...it was not the typical Indian family stereotype... I love sona father and the relationship he has with his wife...love breaks u and molds you into someone beautiful... And makes u a better person...and being an independent woman does not mean u cannot falter... It is rise after the fall makes you stronger...and yes independent self respecting women do fall in love...and do things out of the norm...
