Okay here i am with part two of the story...
SS: Jab dil ke faisle dimag se hote hai : Part 2
She was getting ready in her room as the Basu family was coming to see her...
She was drapped in a vibrant color saree still she looked so dull and colorless...
The kajal did hide the pain in her eyes but could not bring back the shine and life in them..
The blush did mask her pale cheeks but did not make her glow from within ..
The lipstick made her lips attractive but they too failed to trace back the smile she use to have.. Everthing she wore and sported did scream happiness and joy and liveliness but the weight her heart bore told a total different story of hurt,pain,guilt,heartbreak,lonliness and what not...
She was engrossed in her own dismay and hurt when the knock on the door broke the chain of her thoughts..
It was her Dad knocking...
She rushed to the door wiping her tears off and opened the door to let him in...
"Baba bus hogaya..mai do minute mein neeche aati hoon" she said as she was trying hide her tears from her dad...
"Sona baitho yaaha.. mujhe kuch baat karni hai tumhse" he said while making her sit on the bed as he sat on the chair right across her taking her hand in his...
" Sona beta... you know i have trusted you with every decision you have taken till now and never have i once doubted them..." he said as his eyes shined with pride for his daughter.
"Even today, it's your decision to make...But beta, you also know as parents we are right where we stand and we are concerned about your future...
But if you think you are not ready for this or you cant take all this, given everything that has happend in the past few days, i would totally understand if you were to reject this proposal...
Sona whatever decision you make, i came here to tell you that i will respect your decision, trust you with it and support you..." saying so he patted her head and got up to leave when suddenly sona grabbed his hand ..He turned to look behind..Sona's eyes were filled with tears but her face was some what at peace..it was as if she wanted to hear this badly outloud from someone, before she even gets aboard with this idea...
"I love you baba" sona said as her eyes twinkled with shine after what seemed to be ages to her dad...
"I love you too sona, and i will always continue to, no matter what " saying so he kissed her forehead and left the room...
Again she was at the same juncture where she stood a year back where someone she loved unconditionally had given her the right to decide to move on or not...Today it was her dad but that day it was Dev...

Sona had got a job offer in the US...
She had completed her 3 month contract with Dev of taking caring of his mother's health and as promised she did and her health was much much better...
In these 3 months she had seen many shades of Dev's personality.. His love for his family, his caring nature, his anger, his helplessness during her accident, his concern for her..
She had witnessned it all and lived through with it in these 3 months...But as these 3 months passed she did not understand when her heart from almost hating him after their first encounter starting loving him..
She was in love with her Mr.Obhodro and with each passing day she loved him even more..
She tried to confess her feelings but could not and then the Natasha episode happened...
The last 3 weeks were hurting and painful for her as the wedding proposal popped up and she was convinced Dev had no probable cause to deny it...
So she decided to take the job offer as she thought she was doing herself a favour by being away from all this misery and pain...
Finally, it was her last day in the Dixit Masion...
Ishwari was not pleased with her decision to move abroad but then when she told that it necessary and important for her career she did not object...
Nikki and Riya were sad too...
But Radharani was more than happy to get rid of the bangalan..
" Sona di, mujhe ek baat samjh nhi aa rahi hai Dev bhaiyya maan kaise gaye..." nikki asked
And then realisation struck her, she had not informed him about her decision to move aboard for the job...
" How does it even matter sona, he is too busy with Natsha to even bother about her decision..." she thought to herself .
" wo actually maine unko bataya hi nhi hai ab tak "
Nikki riya and ishwari were in shock...
"Nikki promise karo tum unhe mai nikalne se pehele kuch nhi bataogi, meri aaj 2 baje ki flight hai uske baad jo batana hai bata dena..I want this nikki i hope you understand.." saying so she hugged nikki and bid everyone goodbye and promised to stay in touch...
Two hours later or so Natasha and Dev came back from office as Natasha wanted to meet ishwari..
" Sona di ko waha kitane hot ladake milenge na bilkul mere Sidhu jaise ...haiyyeee " nikki was hopping up and down while riya and ishwari were still trying to process the information...
" Dr.Bose ko kahan hot ladake milenge nikki ?" Natasha asked
" USA mein aur kaha ? " she was so excited about it that she did not even know whom she was aswering...
" USA ? " Dev asked with a stern voice... it was then when nikki realised what she had just said...
She came down of the sofa and all three of them did not know what to answer...
" Kya hua nikki and Miss.Bose kahan hai " Dev asked again..
" wo bhai kuch nhi aise hi bol rahi thi mai wo actually ..."
She was out of words and neither riya nor ishwari were helping her cover up...
" Main kuch puch raha hoon mujhe sidhe sidhe jawab do "
Irritation was clear from his tone...
Nikki to save herself from the warth of her brother's anger blurted out the entire truth and he carefully listened to each and every word she said and as he tried to process it he lost her when she said " sona di job ke liye USA shift ho rahi hai..unki aaj 2 baje ki flight hai " His entire world came to a standstill...A sudden rage of emotions started building up in his body...The very same emotions he was fighting for past 2 months..He was numb..Did not know how to react...Sona was leaving...???
She was leaving him ???
Why ?? How can she do this ...
To him ??? Did she once think about him before considering the offer ? His brain did not know why his heart was raising these questions ...Nor did he know how to react to this sudden burst of emotions that overtook him..He was fighting the urge to cry out loud...But his heart was wepping inside...
He could not understand his emotions..The sudden pain that tore his heart apart, the fear of loosing her, the thought of not seeing her again was suffocating... but all he knew was he couldn't let her leave...He had to stop her...
"DEV " he came out of his turmoil when ishwari called him..
" nikki kitane baje ki flight gai bataya tumne ?" He asked as he was trying to get out of the shock he just received...
" 2 baje" she said...
He checked his watch and it was 9 pm...
" 9 baje hai matlab she will be on her way to the airport..mujhe use rokana hoga " he said it with determination..
" Dev i think you should respect her decision " Natasha said..
" No natasha, its between me and her stay out of it..
And anyways you wont even understand"
Natasha was taken aback by Dev's spontaneous but rather rude reply...
He had never spoken to her like this before...
As if this was someone else answering her...
Saying so he ran out of the house like a madman on a mission.. TO STOP HER..
On his way in the car he called her like a zillion times but she did not pick up...
" pick the call sonakshi ..
Talk to me damn it...why are you doing this sona why, didn't i have the right to know about your decision...?
Don't i have the right to have a say in your decision...
Was it so easy for you to just leave not caring about anyone else...You were never so selfish sona...never...
My sona always thought about others before her happiness, then today Why didn't you think about me... WHY ??? Am i not important to you ?"
He screamed his lungs out...
As if he was letting out all the emotions he had locked up within him all this while the fight he was fighting with himself all along..
"Am i that a stranger for you that you didn't even bother to bid me a goodbye or let me know...
I had the right sona...
I had that right...Atleast i thought i did and i still do" a lone tear rolled down his cheek...
It was as if he was experiencing the fear of loosing her all over again...During her accident atleast she was in his arms he could talk to her, protect her, see her , feel her , touch her and talk to her... but today she was so far away...
What if he can't stop her...
The thought alone terrifed him ...he was helpless again...
He had to stop her.. he did not know why but he had...he didn't know what right he had on her but he did have a right on her...
He did not know why he wanted her to stay close to him but he wanted her to stay...
He had some many questions that he did not have the answer to ... But today all this did not matter ... all that mattered was to get her to stay...
Rest all could wait...
