Cmon Prodipto da, lets forgive them once, and let us analyze in ourselves and be true for our own wishes that what we needed from the serial was a flourishing romance with all its trials and tribulations only till it got achieved.. that was what we emotionallly carved for and we got it which is not possible till eternity... Similarly in a movie we do not enjoy each and every part as the others.. There are few special ones only... same with the serial this is getting into a mode where we do not find the happenings as interesting as they were before and thus come out the inexorable criticisms from our guts... wait for a few days.. lets s smthin can get in that can be touchy

dey were classic

@prodipto I don't see tv serials as I find them mindless. This show is different and Anjana's son is in it. Sulbha Deshpande another yester year star is in it. SAngeeta is doing a fab job and so is Meenakshi and Dilshaad.

I am not as young as you though but, Mahabharath was a must watch and the entire family would be dressed , ready on a sunday morning at 9AM . Roads were deserted and Indai used to stand still at that time slot except for essential services. Caste, religion no bar we usedto watch and discuss it the next day in school, college ,bus you name it. I remember all that.

YOu know once the bus driver of the bus I used to go in had missed an episode as his granny was admitted to hospital and he asked the regular commuters to fill in on the story before he started the bus😆we kids started by singing in the signature tune "atha shri mahabharath katha..." and each commuter contributed along with analysis and the bus started half an late. None grumbled. Such was the hold and the quality those days of serials. Now too Mahabharath new version is on and I have yet to see or hear students discussing it.

Buniyaad was a path braking serial. Anjana ji is in the middle half till the end and depicts the position of a first wife and second wife later with such elan I can't ever forget it. I wish she acted these days. But seriously no serial of quality is about for an actress like her. That too is a sad reality of today's TV.

You know when only DD was TV, the maximum limit for serials was 13 episodes three times it could be extended. thats all. Buniyaad broke it and created history. Most serials never thought of popularity then. They were confident of their craft- story, story telling and production, introducing good actors and that was all.
