Me too. See, the story cannot survive on Anurag and Prerna.

A. Because there is no contrast and conflict in their story. Their personalities are bland and boring too.
B. There are no parallel tracks in the show.

So, they really have to have a strong parallel track with either Bajaj or even a new entry.

Prerna herself is the one who accepted the deal. She wasn't forced. She could've denied it and found another way. Yet bajaj is still the one to blame. He let prerna go in the end so he is not a blackmailer, villain and evil no matter how much certain people want to paint him as such.

Blackmailer? No he's a businessman. He put forward a proposal which Pre could enter with her dignity intact. He gave her his wealth, name and a respectful position in society. The deal was simple - Anurag out of Jail and in return Kookie gets a mommy! He could have just kept her as a nanny or a part-time mistress! Maligned her, defamed her! She's pregnant out of wedlock - That could have been a fantastic scandal!

My issue with Bajaj was -

1) he did not destroy the basu's after marriage - Pre got what she asked for, Anurag was out of Jail... He had full liberty to just finish them, he could have blackmailed her saying that take care of my daughter or I will make them pai pai ka mohtaj - He didn't do that! For me thats minus 1

2) He didn't finish the job when he ran over X - That was extremely shoddy work, he should have used a decoy and just removed the thorn on his side - simple and clean... So another minus 1 there

3) He spoke too candidly with X - No need to reveal the past to your enemies, finish them quickly and just move ahead... dwelling on things and just ruminating is foolish.... minus 1

So where is he ruthless? come to think of it... I'm more ruthless than him... where did he blackmail her? with what did he blackmail her? Did he take sexual favour from her, did he degrade her?
