Hi All:

What's wrong with Indian telly people, Balaji, Zee TV, the directors and producers?

Which world are they living in, 18th century, perhaps?

What is all this B.S. about widows needing a husband for support and so on. If and when Rano is ready to marry she should get married, hopefully someone who respects her and takes care of her son, not before and not because of anyone's coercion.

I hated today's show, Bani and Jai listening to Rashi's speech and silently agreeing with her, Jigyasa blaming an innocent child and Rano for the death of Sahil - Rashi forcing Ranveer to marry Rano.

First of all, there is something seriously wrong with the way they are showing widows in this show. Rano is a capable woman who can take care of herself, the child and her husband's business. She should not be forced to marry anyone, especially one who already has a wife, albeit a sick one.

Rashi is not just physically ill, I think she is mentally ill for forcing her husband into bigamy. If and when Ranveer is ready (After he gets over the death of his wife) he should be able to do it. All men who are widowers are not helpless in this world. They are quite capable individuals who can cook, clean and take care of themselves and their children!! They don't need a wife to take care of them.

KS should stop this dumb stereo typing and get on with 21st century.

Half of India is making waves in high-tech, IT and science, the other half is still hiding in Kundlis, mistreating widows, mistreating daughter-in-laws,
portraying single women and men as helpless individuals. I am sure the road is rough for single people, but it's not the end.

Get on with folks (I mean Indian TV), either roll with times or live in 18th century. Here is a quote from Eric Hoffer about Change.

In a time of drastic change it is the learners who inherit the future. The learned usually find themselves equipped to live in a world that no longer exists.

If we are learners we inherit the earth, if we refuse to learn about gender equality, as Indians we will be left back to regress.

How many people agree what they saw in today's episode was bull (pardon my french!!)? Please send a message to the creatives that this kind of portrayal is c**p!!

Sorry for being so strong, I am hating the whole track of how Rano is being treated by Jigs. No wonder Ashwini left, she probably didn't have the stomach to deal with it!!

sheena,
completely agree with u. i think KS is taking us to 19 bc where all these things used to happen. i don't know what creatives r up to. as i think they r without storyline they r going for all these social issues which were there in times of raja harishchand. even i don't feel like watching Ks anymore and if this crap will be going on any longer i think intelligent people r not gonna watch it. and for sure it has turned into BS.

Absolutely agree with you Sheena - the treatment of widowhood and Rano's rights are being dealth with in a deplorable manner. Who behaves like this is educated and cultured families? The post for the TRP's has just been put up and KS is at # 9. I am glad it is not being taken well by the audience as is seen by the falling TRP's
