PART 19:

Jai slowly drew back from Bani.....both of them still dazed and breathing heavily.....their eyes still closed....time had stopped for them.....Bani was quivering inside with happiness....her husband wanted her...desired her....maybe even loved her?.....while on the other hand....Jai's mind was conflicted with overwhelming feelings of desire, happiness.....fear...anguish....what would happen when Bani found out the truth of his past??....

he slowly shook his head as if to clear his mind of the thoughts that were invading them.....the fear too deep to be removed so swiftly....

he was in love with bani....he couldn't lose her now....he had just found her....she had come to mean so much to him.....

his eyes fluttered open slowly and looked at bani.....she was still standing there with her eyes closed....her lips slightly parted and sore....a slight blush in her cheeks.....she looked.....serene?...etherally beautiful?....happy even...?

he fought evry urge...every instinct...every desire....not to go near her again....he wanted her....needed her....but right now?...right now was not the right time....he had to sort things out in the house.....

Bani could feel Jai's intent gaze on her...but she didn't want to open her eyes just yet....she was enjoying the way her body still felt as if he had possessed her with just a kiss....the the sensations he had aroused.....she knew that if she opened her eyes...that would disappear....there were too many things to sort out in the house...and they would take over...

just another few minutes she thought to herself.....just let me have this moment to myself for just another few minutes....

Jai had left and made his way to his study....he had to leave his room for fear that his desire would take over his head....it had been controlling him since last night....how had he become so addicted to his wife?...when had that happened?....

he sat down behind his big mahogany table and quietly phoned Ranvijay....he had to sort out the problems created by the wedding......he would consider the depth of his desire after....more leisurely.....

Ranveer was angry.....angry at his brother....angry at his mammaji and dad.....but mostly...he was angry with BAni and her sisters....What magic were they spreading on Jai and Sahil? ...why was it that only his mother and he himself, could see that they were good for nothing??.....he needed to talk to Jai....tell him that he does not agree with his decision.....which was difficult since his own dad wanted the same thing....

He knocked on the study door...hoping Jai was here...he had no interest of going near his bedroom.....not wanting to even put eyes on Bani's shadow....

"Come in"

He sighed with relief and walked in.....to his surprise Jai was conversing Ranvijay..

"Uncle aap?...aap kab aaye?"

Ranvijay greeted him and informed him that he had been there for a while....he understood the situation....but it was important for Raashi to be married too....he reiterated that Rohit would not be married otherwise....

Ranveer looked towards Jai...who sat silently with an angry expression on his face...the gleam emanating from his eyes warned Ranveer that to oppose him would be dire....he would have to relent and agree with JAi....Sahil should marry Rano....

His own eyes went hard....his voice cooled to ice...and he heard himself say....as if he had no control.....that he would marry Raashi.....he wasn't concerned with anything else but the importance of his sister's happiness....her respect....her izzat....

he could give this sacrifice if it meant the happiness of his family....but he would never forgive Bani...never accept Rano....

Jai was shocked with Ranveer's declaration....he would never have even thought....?....was Ranveer sure he wanted to do this?....

he looked at Ranveer questioningly...but Ranveer just stared back at him intently and nodded his head towards him...a silent communication between uncle and nephew....

Jai understood and gave a small forced smile.....at least now there would be no issue of forced marriages...but in his mind there was still some anxiety regarding Raashi and Ranveer....would Ranveer soften?...would accept Raashi wholeheartedly?....but then he remembered his own life....how bani had changed him...how she had drawn him to her....yes he was sure Raashi would tame Ranveer....make him hers.....then he smiled genuinely....things were finally improving....
