Kisna in Kasam

When I saw Rishi spinning Tanu's locket with his index finger in today's episode - it reminded me of Lord Krishna's chakra. Then I remembered the background score that inevitably follows Rishi - Woh Kisna Hai (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9t0Z0S9ITg). Then, my lightbulb went on!😲

I believe the CVs are subtly drawing parallels to Kisna from the movie Kisna: The Warrior Poet. In that movie, Kisna falls in love with the British woman that he shepherds to safety. The British woman too is deeply in love with him. They do not marry. In fact, at the time of her departure to England, Kisna tells her, something to the effect - that they are soul mates. And, as such do not need to be with each other for their love to grow and that their separation will make their love stronger. He tells her he cannot marry her because he is already betrothed to another (his village playmate) and is bound by duty (Dharam) to marry her.

The British woman and Kisna though separated remain deeply in love with each other. Upon their death they both request that their ashes be scattered at the place they first acknowledged their love for each other.

Are the CVs telling us that Tanu will never be married to Rishi in this life though the two are soul mates? Are they trying to tell us married or not they will continue to love each other deeply?
