"Nandu... Kanna Tum Kahan ho... Maine tumhare hospital pe bhi call kiya... But un logon ne bataya Ki Tum two weeks Ki chutki per gayi ho... Tumne Mujhe bataya kyun nahi..." Amms was talking nonstop getting worried for Nandini without hearing from the opposite side.
"Amms main Manik... Bol raha hoon..." Manik said in reply..
There was a complete silence after Amms heard Manik's voice.
"Hello... Amms... Are you there... Are you alright..." Manik was getting restless thinking what will be her reaction when she come to know that he's staying with her granddaughter.
"Manik... Kaise ho... Tum yahan... Nandu ke ghar par..." Amms tone become serious all of a sudden.
"Nandu Kahan hai... Woh Theek Tou hai naa..." she asked again.
"Amms... Nandini washroom mein hai... Aur Woh bilkul Theek hai..." Manik answered to the point.
"Tum yahan Kya kar rahe ho... Aur Mujhe Nandu ne Kuch bataya kyun nahi..." Amms was curious to know now... what's going on in her kanna's life.
"Amms... Yeh bahut long story hai... If you don't mind... Can ask you a favor..." Manik asked in a very softer way requesting her.
"Par main tumhare liye kyun koi favor karun..." Amms sounds mad but concerned more for Nandini.
"Amms... Please... I request you... Main apke saare sawaalon ke jawaab de dunga... But ek favor chahiye aapse... Please..." He pleaded to her.
Amms kept quiet for sometime and answered.
"Kya favor chahiye..." Amms asked.
"Kya aap Delhi aa sakti hai... As soon as possible..." Manik asked.
"Per kyun..."
"Please Amms... Maine kaha na... Main aapke sawaalon ke jawaab de dunga... But aap jald se jald Delhi aa jaaiye..." Manik again requested.
"Theek hai... I'll come with the first available flight..." She said.
"Thank you Amms thank you so much... So let me know when is your flight I'll come and pick you up..." He said happily.
"Uski koi zaroorath nahi hai... Main khud hi aa jaaungi..." Amms said in a serious way.
And she hang up the phone.
"Chalo Dadi Ko Tou mana liya Hai... Ab pootti Ki Bari hai..." Manik rubbed his hands excitingly achieving half of his goal.
