Sidelining my issues with the story telling and the track which we have discussed earlier. I Agree with u.Nandini wsnt aware of d chip arya inserted..she made a plan when she herself for d first time technically is making a plan n that too without involving manik..she tried..d plan backfired..she had this much presence of mind that she went ahead risking her own life..trying to save manik's.. she immediately figured it out to b aryas stint n went ahead confronting him..next day tried to tok to manik but manik ws busy deciding things on her behalf...din let her talk then..then she told bout participating for navya..wen manik dint want her to..then dud5 drama happened...nandini tried to tell bot arya but manik was already stressed..din want to stress him more..yesterday it WAS NANDINI who figured out aryamann is upto something n INFORMED manik...all d while she ws more concerned of not able to inform manik bot where she was than arya puking n burping around her...IT WAS NANDINI who made manik aware of aryas state getting worse initially...N then manik went on helping him out...
All of this. Ppl time and again fail to(may be dont want to) see her side of the story.. Yes I wanted more.. But they dint show anything which made her a bundle of contradictions. Nandini's presence of mind ystd was commendable. She called out on Aryamann's plan, she connected dots and called Manik.. Actually she was the mastermind behind flopping Aryamann's plan.. Nandini is all about mental strength..In all this ppl applaud MANIKs tremendous growth..which I believe yes his character has grown alot..but d thing wch I dont understand is how does NANDINIs character growth take a reverse turn..???!!! A girl who doesn't lie has been lying so efficiently...??? Is it wat ppl feel ?? Nandinis character never required growth in d first place..she has always been d same since d beginning.. d one who gives ppl suggestions bout how to mend things in their own lives...she always makes ppl aware of where they r wrong...she instructs ppl to do d right thing...she CHANGES ppl...as for her individual growth...she faltered by taking pandit on face value for which she learned..aryas case if now also she wud hv continued doing that she wudnt hv informed manik bout aryas creepiness yesterday...nandini as v all know was never good at lying..thatsy wenever she lied manik used to make out n thtsy since d very beginning manik was aware that she was hiding something...it's not only bcoz manik knows her its also bcoz she cant lie properly...construction site n terrace scene..manik ws too distracted n tensed to make out..coz of alya issue n dud5 fallout respectively...that doesn't mean it makes her an efficient liar...ppl say they like realistic characters and applaud alya for being selfish.. Then they like Nandini as pure white character😕😕Nandini's growth cannot be analysed the way u measure Manik's by stating how he turned from a Monster to Majnu.She was used as a foil to sell other characters in initial days.. She was all light and positivity during those days. Her character traits like innocence, trusting ppl easily, compassion were played against Manik then and all were very happy about it.Ppl started finding her annoying as she started behaving more humenly..First incident was her walking away from the hospital- Girl was insecure, who wouldnt be?? thought they brought pain to each other which indeed was true. Manik bargaining his injury for her appology made their relationship actually toxic. But ppl dont like it yet they admire realistic characters. I becomes all the more annoying when same ppl talk about Manik's fear of being left alone.Second incident was when she decided to become friends with Manik- I wouldnt say this was very realistic considering how youth relationships works these days.. But for any long lasting, mature relationships undersanding is must. This is the reason why Manik-Nandini are considered as relationship goals today.Third was when she deicded to leave for manglore, for fab5. I know she called out on Manik for sacrifise stunt.. But she wasnt being hypocrite.. She actually thought about how painful it would be for him, But situations wasnt in her favour and Manik's words did a number on her and forced her to take that decision. She was indeed fighting his battles.
Fourth soha thing- It was a subjective conflict, Her ideologies, battle between mind and heart, communication gap.. there are so many things to analyse which gave depth to Nandini as a person. But well, its reduced to a blunder by Nandini and no one wants to notice the growth from that Nandini to todays Nandini.. phir bhi they dare talk about growth🥱Fifth was Pandit- even in this track they messed with the story telling, Pandit's character sketch, and kichdi of tracks.. It was about her breaking down bit by bit, and Manik stepping up to water her hope tree.. It was about her vulnerabilities..Shaking of her beliefs. Call it butchering of character if u lack patience and understanding??Whole Kidnapping-Manglore track was about her falling and rising. One need to understand that her charcter graph is a sine wave.. That is how its sketched.. It cannot be comapred with Manik's growth graph which is exponential.Then about Aryamann track u already said it all..I dont know what is the growth that ppl are expecting from her??V never question manik wen he lies or hides coz yes he has been doing that or he protects them...manik very efficiently lied bout not finding nething at construction site wen he found muktis strum...now fcorse in Yesterday's episode every thing is cleared..so v have to expect that nandini even told manik bout d construction site..but maniks thing is yet untouched n no one seems to b bothered...but thinking that nandinis growth is questionable...!!!!! 😕I ll not talk about Manik's lies.. But let me talk about Nandini's lies. She did lie from day1.. But her intentions and circumstances mttered.. as it was never for slefish motives unlike ALya's.
In first episode, Nandini(who never got scoldings from her teachers) sneaked her friend out of the class in the presence of guruma..She lied to security guards to save her fireflies.She did not share abt her tough time in SPACE with chachi..She did not tell chacha-chachi about her expulsion and decided to take up the job. There is a reason why ppl like Harshad and Nyo say NAndini has a mind of her own.She is the most consistance character in KY2 IMO. She retained all her original character traits yet showed tremoundous growth when the situation demanded.
