manik came in between the crowd and stood infront of navya. he was glaring at her which made navya a bit scared.

The party was on a bang. loud music, spot lights, drinks everywhere. navya was fully enjoying the party giving thumkas on the dance floor, while nandini was standing with rishab in a corner. she wasnt feeling that much comfortable. rishab gestured that he needs to go to the washroom. nandini wanted to go with him but he insisted that he can go by on his own so nandini stayed back. while looking for the washroom, maniks eyes found rishab

he shook hands with manik and gave him a side hug. manik asked him with whom he had come here but because of the loud music rishab couldnt understand anything so manik took him aside.

nandini stood in a corner and looked around the people. they were so much full of life she thought. suddenly her mind cracked that rishab had gone to the washroom and still he wasnt back. she became worried and began to look for him. while searching nandini reached the empty corridors of the buildings. she was passing by the corridor when she heard some noise coming out from the music room. nandini peeped through the glass side and saw rishab sitting with manik and manik was teaching rishab play the guitar. nandini remembered manik was the same guy whom she saw in the crowd a few minutes before and how come rishab was so much friendly with him. she smiled seeing this as it was rare that rishab would like someone and chit chat and laugh with someone. she was brought back into reality when cabir patted on her shoulder. she turned around and saw him looking at her with a raised eyebrow

cabir moved aside and let nandini in. she was a bit nervous and playing with her fingers. she nervously looked at manik who gave her a smirk. seeing nandu rishab stood up and pointed manik towards her.

SCENE SHIFTS

navya was sleeping peacefully and nandini was caressing her hair. it took her one hour to make navya sleep and console her. after making her understand for a long time navya agreed to face everything the next day with a new beginning. nandini switched off the lights and came out of navyas room. she took a glance of rishab also who was also sleeping. then nandini came into her room and lied down on her bed. her first day at college was surely not a good experience she thought. she closed her eyes to sleep but what she saw closing her eyes made her sit up like a jerk

nandini lies down and closes her eyes tightly but everytime she tries to sleep maniks face appears..after a long time fighting sessions nandini fell asleep.

The Next Morning

nandini and navya came to college. navya was all again cool and jhakkas while nandini was as always calm and quiet. they bid eachother good bye and went to their class rooms. navya was going to her class when she saw a bit smoke coming from the left turning point of the corridor. she thought it might be fire. without thinking navya started to look for water. luckily she saw girls washroom next to her and bought a bucket full of water from the washroom

and the next thing navya did was splashed the water without even looking or asking. what she saw next left her mouth opened. it was mukti standing all drenched

nandini was sitting in the fourth row third last bench and going through the pages of her book. she felt someone looking at her. she lifted her eyes and turned left and saw manik sitting and smirking at her

her words hit his mind. "hardwork", "name", & "fame".. no one ever had taunted manik for all these things ever but he didnt felt any kind of insult or anger in himself. he was touched by her words. she was an open book he thought. her life was simple infront of his .. she had nothing except her brother and her frend. he wanted to talk to her but everytime he would try something bad will happen. but he would talk to her and so he ran behind her. manik reached the stairs and saw her standing down the stairs and talking to a guy. seeing the face of the boy's , maniks blood had risen. he tightened his fist, it seemed that he would outburst at that time. moreover he saw nandini talking to him with a calm and cold expression. as soon as the boy left manik came down, grabbed her arm and pinned her to the door of the room next to the corrider
