It was the story, crisp writing, well executed plot with proper pace and the imperfectly perfect flawed multi-layered grey characters which where intriguing and most importantly realistic which we can connect forced me to take up this show. When hardly anyone knew about the show.

All the characters had plots and back stories. There was a commendable set ups and proper build ups for each character and plot. It had a solid story which was always unpredictable. All episodes ended up on an edge which made us to speculate and analysis, most importantly which made us to anxiously wait for the next episode.

This was a show where either I love the characters or love to hate the characters. Almost all the characters had a mystery element in it all and were easy to connect.

MaNan was the most consistent among the lot. But lately we find their scenes random and repetitive without substance or progression. Few scenes were silly and unnecessary. Any day quality above the quality.

I have watched earlier episodes umpteen times. Nowadays I don't feel like going for a second watch that itself say a lot. Earlier there wherein any scene which I would skip. Nowadays if I go for a second see I end up killing the FF bottom. Now what does that say? we can't connect either with story, plot or the characters. Sad but the truth.

We understand growth but butchering of character, taking away the basis traits of the character for the sole purpose of selling a plot is never justifiable.

Unnecessary dragging of plots and show are bound to put off people. Stretching of the plot beyond a point made the track boring and has stolen its essence. Pacing of the story has been a legit issue.

Many potential tracks disappeared into thin air.

Few tracks weren't up to the mark and few were good in paper but execution fell flat.

Ky2 itself have set a benchmark for itself. It is known for its realistic and subtle approach of tracks and not dramatic. Buck up Cvs you know your job. You still can get the grip back. You have gold in the forms of the characters. There are still open plot which are either untouched or not utilized to the optimum. Please get back on the track.

Please bounce back otherwise you will definitely lose those ardent fans following the show from day 1 who has a hand in making the show where it is now.

Though I have issues still I neither hate the show nor MaNan.

I m nt agree with it...
The show starts with bunch of teens and their journey to womanhood and manhood ...corresponding their relationships changes ...
Navya- Novish OTT girl...now she knows ppl shudnt b judged face values...changes must be come of a girl ..teenage mother...struggling for society...family...

Mukti-The girl is ditched by her boyfriend..her family...found true love from a person who have few days left...the girl comes to know the value of love ...smile ...life...there change shud be in her life..

Manik - the boy knows to fight to his mom...to all for surviving...fight for love and trust...comes to know that there cud be someone who can take care of him too...the fighter is still in him...but now this boy is towards manhood...more responsible...knows to think before react...the CVs shows very beautifully changes of Manik's character...to being wid someone and love and being loved ..both make changing people..basically I love this Manik...cute monster...

Nandini- I think previously she was more crying baby rather than now...She is still hidden tigress...shows her inner strength when needed ...it is Pandit or Nayonika or anyone...

Most lovable thing of this show is the communcation and vibes between Manan...They are not fall /Catch...eye-locks couple...they talk..they share...they care...they mock...I love they way CVs potray this couple...actually this is the most healthy relationship ..

i agree with cabir and alya... esp alya... her character transformation from a chipku gf to a matured girl was amazing... i always knew that all the other members of fab 5 will turn positive as the story progress. except alya...i thought she will be the typical jealousy ex gf and expected her to be the soha of the show but she surprised me... nandu and laya are my fav characters in kyy
navya... no comments... people aroung her always has to remind her that she is pregnant... abortion is the best option for a girl like navya.. she dont have financial support or maturity to handle a child...
mukti... the whole abhimanyu track distroyed her for me...i will still take mukshad over mukbhi any day coz mukshad has potential...
dhruv... neither the character is interesting nor the actor... when the show started utkarsh and krissan were on same level but now utkarsh is still were he was and krissan improved a lot... so bottom line is acting is not utkarsh's cup of tea...
nandini and manik...i agree that their scenes at times are repeated but their story is the only constant thing in the show... everything else changed...
i also agree that ky2 dont have the charm it had at the initial days but still it is better than most of the shows in tv right now esp youth oriented... most of the shows by this time would have completely lost track and becomes sense less but kyy have not become that worst...

Well written post - I agree that the origin & roots that the show was based on has meandered & lost its THREAD - I loved the start & the animosity & the complexity of the characters as together it lead to be a very entertaining story line. The balance was perfect & the catalyst was definitely the mixed up mind of the bad boy Manik BUT he seems to have disappeared & in his place is this highly emotional version.
What happened to all the bad traits. Kabir's portrayal was excellent & the storyline in itself involving him & his relationship especially the conflicts with his mother again seems to have disappeared.
I also feel that Dhruv's turn around was too quick - no depth there really either.
Mukti & her "habit" of taking the hard stuff & the reasons why.? Disappeared again no real explanation.
Lost direction - when it was the best drama in ages on TV - now weakened severely why weak plots & over extended story lines & focus' on events that really DRAG !!!
Writers need tyo bring it back on TRACK before its too late !!!😭

I'm probably in minority but I just care about MaNan. Rest don't matter to me whatsoever. My complain is that MaNan scenes have stopped clicking. That's what bothers me. No matter what, cvs always used to make sure MaNan scenes clicked. Despite all the dragging and boring fests, they used to deliver that one MaNan scene every now and then that would keep me going, keep me connected but now it's been forever and I'm losing my connect big time. The last MaNan scene I really really really enjoyed was hope karti raho tum scene. After that it's been down hill. Yes I have liked few scenes in between and fangirled over them but the feels level hasn't been the same. I used to brag about the chemistry, that x-factor where no matter what, I was so sure MaNan would always click. Always give me feels no matter what. And I guess I jinxed everything for myself. Sadly, MaNan scenes are losing their magic. I'm so scared that even confession won't work for me especially after all this hype. I'm hoping against hopes, I would get feels from confession scene because it's been a long wait but I have my doubts at this point.

Everyone including the writers, directors, actors, everyone needs to buck up and bring back that magic. Don't tell me, times are different. It doesn't matter what their relationship status is. Their scene have the potential if enough effort is put in writing and execution.

Okay, so I'm probably going to get shot for saying this but I feel like the CV's know that 90% of KY2 success is due to MaNan and their chemistry but I feel like they are almost overdosing us with MaNan scenes like some of the MaNan scenes recently just seem so forced and that is why I think some of the charm is missing. For instance, that car scene today when Nandini decided to 'drive' was the scene really necessary? I feel like CV's are just giving us MaNan scenes thinking that we will be satisfied just seeing the two romancing but for me I'd rather be deprived of MaNan scenes and have that one amazing scene rather than loads of MaNan scenes that lack the charm.
I just hope CV's bring back feisty MaNan back

I totally agree with u...now I don't wait for the show with same old enthusiasm... Pandit track was tooo much dragged..but thank.god dhruvs issue was solved ...they didn't drag it anymore...n I don't want a new guy to come and fall for nandini n make manik jealous.. I think they should concentrate on things which are left unresolved... N instead of this drag fest I would love this show to end in June if they solve all mysteries without making it a bore...sure!! I will miss it..but essence of my show would be there...I would be happy that my fav show was unique...
I don't know how many will agree but this is what I feel
