Cavya's corner: EDITED! So a few things to consider here... Cabir has planed multiple plans of getting rid of Navya but the question is how real and dedicated were these attempts? Initially when she stepped into his life, and pretty much was living as an uninvited member in his house, he whinged a little, whined a bit but eventually let it all go. They had their moment on valentines day when they had their first heart to heart talk because of the pain they were experiencing at that moment. You know sometimes life pretty much pushes an individual into our lives and we may be north and south in personalities but one mutually experienced incident can enable us to connect with this individual in a way that we may not feel with any other person. Such is Cavya for me.
Their heartbreaks, their experience of being disowned from the people they love, an incomplete life and love story has enabled them to understand each other even with the loss of words.
You can say their presence is starting to grow upon each other. The other day, Cabir opened the door and saw water in Navya's eyes and he was ready to argue it out with his own mother as to how could she have revealed everything despite knowing that she would totally break. She turns to him for help every single time like he's been her lifelong best friend. They yell at each other, mock each other, rebuke each other's decision but with a right. They do feel a pure bond of friendship and companionship to claim the right to fight with each other time after time as well as care for one another by standing up for them.
I already mentioned in another post that at the end of today's episode we saw Navya fearing the outcome of this outburst she had in front of Dhruv but tomorrow when everything falls into their respective place, Cabir will be the first one to appreciate his Madhubala.
I say that Cabir is so different from all the other characters and especially all the other boys of this show. His fall in life taught him how to be the strongest of personalities during storms, it taught him how to maturely handle difficult situation, it enabled him to become a wiser person at a very young age. Losing Raghav and then his mother has made him realise and value the importance of relationships at such a young age. Perhaps that's why even amongst his differences with Navya, he will never let her go. He will never hurt Navya's mum wither because he knows the importance of a mother in a child's life and would always wish for Navya to have the support of he mother. Be it because he is gay...he has always been portrayed as more emotional than other guys and so his ability to understand the feelings of the heart is quite precise.
So they hugged today and tbh it was a surprise for me...they had been bickering so much over the last couple of weeks, i didn't think a hug would be coming into the picture this early. But the truth is that this is the start of a lifelong friendship. A boy and girl don't necessarily have to be lovers to be together or to be companions. Sometimes the understanding and trust and care and respect that exists in a relationship can be enough to let two totally distinct personalities become one.
We all know Harshad is back and this will initiate Cavya's realisation journey! Cabir has seen Navya in the worst of her times and so he will go out of his way to protect her rights, her decisions, her feeling and emotions from Harshad. I expect to see their need for each other grow and the horizons of their friendship will also broaden. Honestly, i don't see Navya and Harshad getting back together again because Navya was weak before...but Cabir's friendship will make her strong. Her pregnancy will assure her of her self-confidence. This will eventually wrap up Sunny Sharma's chapter too because Cabir will be the first to realise that his life's lonely and dislocated feelings seems to vanish when he shares his day's burdens and his life's complexities with Navya. Marriage or no marriage between Cavya is something I think time will only tell but I can say it's not impossible.
We've always seen Cabir taking full precautions when it comes to Navya's pregnancy... he reminds her to take care of herself again and again. This baby is Navya's new hope of survival... she plans to live the rest of her life for him/her. And I wouldn't be surprised if Cabir's affection towards this baby adds a new depth to his own lifeless life. Like I say...love has many definitions and it's not necessary that if the romantic element lacks in a relationship they may not be in love. Love can be friendship too. You can love your friends and this child, cabir's love for this child... may bring him to a certain point where he starts to feel that his life is complete without Navya and her child's presence.
Hope I made sense!
