It was an impasse actually, something needs to be broken there. So himgiving an ultimatum broke the impasse.

Now she can try ignoring him after she hugged him, because he knows she has deep feelings too

I think this deadlock was not making sense. I loved when she walked out earlier on him because he just wanted her to accept the sorry but this is different.

It's messing with him too, they both need to make one major decision and soon for everyone's sanity. She cannot tell him that they are toxic or it's over when she is all around him, kissing him, praying for him and just hovering around . For him, she is his peace and solace- how can that ever be wrong?

Also she needs it too, somebody needs to tell her that walking out is an epic fail. She cannot do it, the ego tussle needs to end .If she has worries about them, then communicate not run away . Because even she cannot let go of him.

Atleast this have them agreeing on one fact- they cannot stay away from each other. Rest they will figure out , slowly. Baby steps.

^^Exactly MKB - it's a start. They always run away from each other whenever they think there is a problem. Now when they acknowledge that there is no escaping , it will force them to work together on their issues .

Toxic and unfair is what they are doing to each other. This push and pull is dragging them , making no sense and just hurting more.
