Shah Murad comes to Salim and asks him how many times he wanted to meet him but could not. Salim says I am busy and Murad argues saying here and Anarkali stops him says not to talk now. Murad is unhappy with the interference and takes her to task Salim then hits Murad and Murad takes offence that he was hit and goes.

All begums are discussing about MUZ not doing puja and fasting despite SH telling her. Ruq says Jo is doing right. HB says as she has done this for her son and as she is childless she does not understand then says sorry but Ruq covers outside but inside she is simmering but is happy that Jo did not listen to Jalal so she has a chance to create problems on the sly between them..

At the puja SH comes to do puja as Jo is not doing puja when Dasis says this is woman;s puja he says when 2 people are married then anyone can do and just then Jo comes and their song and pujari says both of you do and Jo asks SH you fasted and SH says you kept fast and both do puja a very cute scene with Jalal's song that he sang in the BG and their old visuals both float the diya After the puja Jo says what if we are from different religions you did puja and SH says no one has the right to stop anyone from doing what they have belief in. He says had this happened to Maan Bhai would she have agreed she says no. He says both of us have united two religions and laid a foundation stone of secularism in Hindustan, He says if you also believe this then smile and say yes. She smiles and he says don't ever talk of changing the religion, He says I also wanted to teach Salim that as Sh he can't let others dictate him and take decisions as his one decision will affect thousands. He then says he is very hungry and she says why did you fast and he says because you did not eat and he can't eat if she does not.

Motibahi says all says that after some years love between husband and wife decreases but it is increasing between both of you. Dasi comes and tells about the incident of Salim and Murad and Jo feels he should not have done it and what if SH knows he will get angry.

SH says what Salim has done is wrong and he should be punished as he has disrespected ShahShah so call him there. Jodha tries to intervene and stop SH from MAKING this public but he does not listen and says he can't overlook his faults and feels maybe his decision to make Salim next SH is wrong as he cannot control his anger which is the worst trait for a SH. Jo pleads says their relation of father and son will spoil but SH says for him all are equal for him whether prince or common man and unless he takes action no one will respect Shahshah who is next to him. He asks her not to stop him from doing his duty and goes saying he will punish Salim in DEK so that he realizes the mistake.

Salima and HB tells Jo not to worry as SH will take care of the issue. Jo feels this politics has made two bothers enemies. Both placate Jo saying that they will take care if anything happens between father and son

SH comes to DEK and Salim also comes there. Sh says there is a complaint against you that you hit Shahshah is it true Salim tells his version and Sh asks Murad did he instigate Salim to beat him .Murad tells what happened how he sent Salim so many messages regarding a problem in Punjab and when he did not come he himself went there and what happened and says he can hit him as he is his elder brother but in front of a Kaniz who tried to interfere their conversation and when he stopped Salim hit him and take her side and he scolded me. Salim tries to interfere and SH scolds him not to interfere. He says this is not a issue between brothers but Salim has insulted a Shahshah.

SH tells Salim to say sorry to Shahshah Murad and he has to respect the position.SH shouts at him and Salim says what if I refuse.

PRECAP JO says the storm has already come and it entered house . When Jalal tries to say something and she says don't say another word as it will not stop the storm in my heart.
