Sree you said it all and beautifully too...I too have wondered and felt sick at Jalal and Salima's relationship and the morality of it all...No matter how many reasons are given Sree this relationship is difficult to be accepted...and more then this most of the books say that Murad was Jodha's child but EK has shown it otherwise...Now Sree when we 21st century ppl can not accept it just imagine how 16th century ppl would have reacted to it? They might not have said anything out of fear but I strongly doubt that this relationship was looked at with respect by ordinary ppl...
As far as Jalal is concerned I find hi completely wrong in blaming Jodha and letting go Ruku scotfree...What does this make Jalal...A spineless king and it is laughable that he confesses love to Jodha...Jo too has no self respect at all...I agree these 16th century woman were phycologically trained to accept other wives but what abt self respect factor...How could she accept a man who blamed her for her own child's death ...when she had decided to part with her child to honor that man's words? What has Jalal done for her? Especially when she knows that Jalal has been visiting Salima?...
All this is so ugly Sree and very cheap also apart from being so unfair...I could not accept it on phycological level and left...I have absolutely no respect for Jalal now...
Sree love is never ugly like JA's relationship...Its the most beautiful emotion...trust me...
