My dear, if MA and Rukaiya were to behave like Jodha too then where will the negative character come from? There is a reason why they are like what they are. They are meant to be the mean and negative character and hence I don't see why I would expect anything other than cunningness or double-face from them.
However, Rukaiya to me is more delusional or blinded than being less dignified. When she found out that the unknown man was indeed Sujamal she was angry with MA because she believed that had they known it to be her brother, then it was wrong to have accused her of adultery. There are abundant fault with Rukaiya, but you must always give her credit for her persisitence in upholding the Mughal pride, respect and dignity. But Rukaiya is not the topic of discussion here. So I leave this at this.
No one ever said that Jodha is not pure. She is. The question is whether Jodha is strong enough and have what it takes to behave a queen under all situations. She fails tremendously for me here. Neither she is capable of defending her own, nor she is able to be honest or being fair and just.
What is the point in feeling guilty if at the end you go away with a letter tha screams "Shehensha how could you kill the blossoming love in me by not believing I am pure even though from my own lips I said that I loved that unknown man and that I had known him all this while, plus I hope that after you have crushed my heart, you will find yours?
All I can see is - Emotional maiming, and refusal of acknowledging her own part in this fiasco.
