Yes, even her antar aatma tells her she wants him to get her,

And to your prior point, at least they have shown Jodha admit her mistake once- Ruqs has never done that.

Diksha, I love the fact that you continue to post here amidst people who might not exactly agree with you. We love reading your POV and applaud you for that. 👏

Hope you feel welcome here as well.

Thanks for posting Shreya ... Yes, great point, how Jodha was behaving was contrary to what Jalal has seen before.

I also agree they are both right ... I think because the CVs are already showing Jalal repenting and guilty ... We are making the case to give these same redeeming qualities to Jodha. it is only fair to Jodha!

Thanks so much- loved your hilarious responses and glad you agree.

But one clarification, I don't want to be Jalal's lawyer, I want to be Jodha's lawyer to her CVs- to make her the strong princess she is.

So, that we can see a love story behind a strong Shehenshah and a fiery Princess.

Look Ash (Ashyagh) had a def, but I can't find which page it is on.

Google will tell you the following- it is about fighting for the equality of sexes which means same standards for men and women. Hence, the way I interpret it is:

- Equal standards for things like trust
- Ability to speak up to a man equally

However, if you read other threads, and I mean no sarcasm in this, because I have been told that I am not a feminist because I do not relate to a woman's POV only a man's POV.

I just want Jodha to be equal to Jalal in every which way- her ability to defend her views, her trust, her graciousness to own up to her mistakes.

There is a great post by Anne on this - will try to khoj the link for you but will be online only much later today.

noun
  1. 1.
the advocacy of women's rights on the ground of the equality of the sexes.

agreed with all what u have written... but as far as i remember she is dignified enough else she wouldn't have been sorry for hiding the truth from Jalal... have u ever seen Ruku or MA being sorry for any of their crime? and Jo feeling guilty , i think it certainly proves her purity...

My dear, if MA and Rukaiya were to behave like Jodha too then where will the negative character come from? There is a reason why they are like what they are. They are meant to be the mean and negative character and hence I don't see why I would expect anything other than cunningness or double-face from them.
However, Rukaiya to me is more delusional or blinded than being less dignified. When she found out that the unknown man was indeed Sujamal she was angry with MA because she believed that had they known it to be her brother, then it was wrong to have accused her of adultery. There are abundant fault with Rukaiya, but you must always give her credit for her persisitence in upholding the Mughal pride, respect and dignity. But Rukaiya is not the topic of discussion here. So I leave this at this.
No one ever said that Jodha is not pure. She is. The question is whether Jodha is strong enough and have what it takes to behave a queen under all situations. She fails tremendously for me here. Neither she is capable of defending her own, nor she is able to be honest or being fair and just.
What is the point in feeling guilty if at the end you go away with a letter tha screams "Shehensha how could you kill the blossoming love in me by not believing I am pure even though from my own lips I said that I loved that unknown man and that I had known him all this while, plus I hope that after you have crushed my heart, you will find yours?
All I can see is - Emotional maiming, and refusal of acknowledging her own part in this fiasco.
