Jodha in Mughal outfit -- what a blunder!!

Guys, Did anyone notice . .. Jodha was a hindu rajvanshi woman, She can wear Mughal dress, but how come she did not wear bindi /kumkum ?!!!!! this is such a big blunder!!
she would never ever forget or choose not to - wear a kumkum or sindoor as long as her husband is alive!!! It was considered bad omen.. still is in many parts of India ...
Wow... this is so basic! How can creatives treat this as if it was some kind of fashion show!!

Yr she wore jst fr jashn nd dt too apni mother in law ka dil rkhe k lye
ar shes hindu rajvanshi bt shes married to az mughal
th she cn b widout sindoor..acc to mughals
deres no harm in dt.

I wondered about that. Bindi for a married woman in those days was extremely significant.

Anycase let it go considering one another overlook on the creative's part..

but she has not changed her religion, and was wearing sindur and kumkum till the evening before jashan, so all of a sudden she can't come without sindoor.:-)

Nope ! There is no such thing as no bindi on certain attire . No matter what the dress is, a hindu woman is supposed to wear kumkum/ sindoor as long as her husband is alive. Modern women do not follow all that but in Jodha's time this was very much followed, actually this is the case in many parts of india even in these times.
Wiping your kumkum for any reason is considered ashubh.
Probably many people on this forum too, are not ware how much big deal it was !! :)
Anyways, its painful to see no one cares about perfection, this was just a small but imporatnat thing, could have avoided easily.
I know the disclaimer - " Ye serial kisi bhi vastavikata ka daava nahi karata "... This just shows the Cv's lack of desire to be even closer to reality.
