I think it because of the religion and some people refuse to accept that a Muslim Emperor was secular, and was in successful uniting India under one dynasty.I think it's b/c of the religion barrier, and also because of the pride, and ego. You know I read some where Jodha never visited her family after she went there with Salim.She was ridiculed and all.That after Akbar never sent her to Amer. But, Akbarnama states that Bhagwandas sister who held a high rank in Imperial harem went for the mourning of her mother. History Geek was right on a lot of his findings.😆
