if there are a handful criticising him,there are thousands who are totally amazed by his portrayal of Akbar...rajat has such strong screen presence that he brings out the personality of the Emperor...i cannot even fathom anyone else for this role...critics ,media and audience are falling for this guy...that itself is a huge compliment...and the popularity the show is achieving speaks for itself...why you need to worry about what a few have to say...every actor has his set of negative fans too lol..it is part of this industry...

Ekta is always spot on with her casting..be it Jalal or Jodha or MA...i cannot even imagine anyone else other than Ashwini playing MA...

If they would have any ounce of idea how Akbar looked like, then no one would have questioned about Rajat's height. 😡

Akbar was of average height; his eyes were small and showed his Mongolian ancestry - Rajat's eyes too are small;
Akbar had a charming and pleasing personality but there was a kingly disposition, a gravity which would make anyone realize in a second that he is indeed the Emperor. Moreover, when he looked at someone angrily, people found it to be "strangely terribe".
Rajat with his powerful screen presence and talent oozes out that dominant personality in every second 😃 whereas I found Hrithik's version to be someone who is gentle, kind, and much more mellow.

Waise, I wish Rajat would have a few more inches taller 😕 - his height might create a problem in bagging interesting projects.

and yes RAJAT IS PERFECT FOR THE ROLE OF JALAALUDDIN MUHAMMAD AKBAR, no one can be better than him, neither hrithik was (no offence to hrithik). Rajat made akbar look real in the show, he is just damn good and he is still young have the age to grow bit more, I believe.

Thanks dear. yes you are right. JA's popularity in itself speaks for it and its lead actors. 😃

As for Rajat's height, maybe age is still on his side. he might grow an inch or two taller.

Haha. Why? Why does he need to to grow? You can get a good height, a good body and everything by working out and jumping tracks. He has what people cannot get unless they are freaking born with it. A stunning face. The only and absolute mark of true beauty. And immense talent. People like him don't "need" to be anything. They are already great enough. 😆 And I have to say I wish for him to turn a director as well. Something tells me that he will a be a great one.

Are you serious? ZOMG. He has to become a director. He will be a great one. *jumps up and down in excitement* 😆 I have a strong feeling that he helps out the director of this show with the characterization of Akbar. I have seen enough Ekta shows to know that. This guy is just. Wow. 👏
