Sushant's act today, for me, was the only one that truly felt like a performance. It flowed together so well that I wanted it to keep on going, whereas with most others I will admit I couldn't wait for them to be over. Then again this could just be the bechain fan in me. 😆
The most impressive part in my eyes was when Sushant would go between both Shampa and Rashmi continuing with his steps but both the females would join in on different alternate sections. That was a brilliant piece of choreography and the coordination was great. However some of it seemed a bit lackluster for me, such as the part with the long pieces of black cloth coming to surround Sushant. I understood the point of it but maybe it could have been executed differently. At the end the lift was beautiful, but I felt like the end was missing something, though I don't quite know what.
As usual, the overall concept with the theme, choreography, lighting, music etc was really well done. Shampa is proving to be an excellent choreographer and also dances beautifully anyway. Sushant again did well with blending the acting and dancing, the whole effect of his performance is just fantastic. Rashmi did a swell job also, especially for her first attempt at this style; I'm really happy with the way she worked hard to match up with Shampa and Sushant.
I have to say I'm conflicted on whether or not I think it really deserved a perfect score, but going by the inconsistencies of the judging and looking at which other performances have previously received scores such as 30, 29, and 28, I think it definitely deserved to be on the higher end of those three.
Just one thing that bothered me throughout the act: the ridiculously tight shirt. That wasn't just fitted, it was tight... though the cute smile proved to be a good distraction from it. 😆
Edit add: Damn, I was planning on only commenting 2-3 sentences, and look at what I did instead. 😆
