Yep. My jaw dropped as well. I assumed votes decided the winner. We already know who the judges are gonna pick if the veto is any indication. So where's the suspense?

Only if she makes it to the last round of the finale, which is quite doubtful considering the fact her vote bank is questionable, only final two has a face off and judges make the decision there, until then votes still take the precedence !!! But since she got those "atihasik" votes, if she does get eliminated based on votes, then channel is going to make themselves look like fools

I think the finals will have 3 contestants and as per *Spoiler* since Bharti is out this coming week (22 and 23 Sep) for next week as in 29th & 30th September episode will have Rashmi, Isha, Gurmeet and Rithvik and I think one more will be eliminated to get down to 3 total contestants - so yes Voting will happen but not in the Finale as only judges scores matter then but in semi-finals, I think voting and scores are both combined.

so to break it down for my own understanding and others too:

22 & 23 Sep - Semi-Finale - Bharti elimination (so 4 contestants left) - contestants will most definitely require votes so that they stay in the competition for next week too i.e. 29 & 30 Sep

29 & 30 Sep - Finale - one more elimination so we will be left with 3 contestants when the performances for this Finale episodes start. But after the performances, I don't think contestants will need vote as winner will be decided only by Judges scores I still don't get this, so they will have 3 for the finale and then judges pick one outta the 3 😕

^ this is what I know and understood so I could be wrong

so we have 2 more weeks to go as in 4 more episodes and then JDJ5 ends😛

Hopefully someone can confirm all these loop holes

undoubtedly gurmeet is the weakest...

but it won't be right to compare him with the 3 others...because he came from a complete non-dancer background where rest of the others are trained dancers...

I also heard that another show is starting from Sunday 7th October. So Unless they have one FINAL episode on Saturday 6th where those TWO with highest votes and judges score get to do the dance off and then only based on Judges scores there is a Winner - otherwise it doesn't make sense. Also because starting a Weekend show from Sunday only when it will most definitely air on Saturday & Sunday.

Jhalak is a pre-recorded show (mostly recordings take place on Tuesdays, I hear) and the voting lines open on Saturday and Sundays (in the following week) only so unless they do it like I stated above (i.e. Finale on 7th October) they cannot include VOTES in the FINALE otherwise - it just doesn't make sense i.e. not logical. If Jhalak was a LIVE show then including voting in the FINALE would make sense but it's not or unless they are going for a LIVE FINALE.

Again, it's all my own speculation and what seems logical to me😕

Someone please clear this thing. That's also one of the reasons I was looking for JDJ5 rules but no one seems to have any idea where one can find them
