I must say, you are spot on. This look was no lover look, it was a lethal brother look who could go any length for his sister. ASR was ready to tear him apart and I wanted him too but I guess the daily show had its limits.

So agree with you, he was a good villain. Though I hated the guts of his screen limit,

Here I so wanted him to have a fight with her so their conversation could open new avenues on all of the matters but again, if that happened, the serial would be ended.

That was the main reason he was the father of his sis's child; otherwise, he would have taken this moment to the next level. But I have a problem here, at this moment, this right moment, ASR had no idea that her sis is pregnant, then what stopped him, just Shyam's claim that she thinks of him as a God. That is somewhat a poor basis for not punching this leecher out.
