It is indeed common sense to see Khushi would be the main target after him if anyone is after him. If he is scared, he need to scared for both of them.

It does seem like we are reading two different stories at times 🙈 I agree to Ashvini here.

Pt 1. The ONLY person he discussed with was Akash in September and that too just as a fleeting thought. He wasn’t even sure then. He cannot discuss his dilemma with a friend? Read Payal’s visit again. She said to Khushi when Arnav talked to Akash, they didn’t even think he was serious. Which is true. He wasn’t. Next time payal and Akash found out and because Payal recognised Naina and walked out on him. In prologue arnav was pissed that they were some friends who weren’t even ready to listen to his side of the story.

Pt 2. He’s a billionaire who didn’t protect himself??

Really? He has an ARMY of professionals behind him from the day he found out. Including litigation lawyers when that was not even something Lavanya was threatening. There’s an entire team of detectives and engineers trailing one lone photographer. He did all that which you expect a billionaire in place to do. He HIRED people to protect himself and his family immediately.

And, why did we randomly assume that all this was just for his benefit? When Aman’s first sentence after photos was don’t let this and reporters reach Khushi bhabhi, got it? When lawyer’s first job was to safeguard Khushi’s financial interest? Everything was in place to protect Khushi!

Pt 3. I think it has already been discussed to death why he didn’t think Khushi was a target. If anything, his character has shown he doesn’t take Khushi’s safety lightly. Theres no reason to think a woman who wants him will go behind a wife he is already separated from. We know the story so we know Khushi is his weakness and he still cared deeply for her. But in real life, if a couple is getting divorced, I think it’s safe to assume that they don’t matter that much to each other. Objectively, nobody will go behind an estranged spouse.

The other question you raised regarding his reaction to Aman discovery...really bothered me.

Arpita addressed it as because of him being a honest businessman and not his style.

To me also when your entire life has gone for a toss..your first reaction would be anger and not think so rationally.

Plus his sarcastic dig with Manali is lost to me as a reader when he talks about La wanting a real relationship given he knows that he was conned by them.

Yes he was going to separate from Khushi but they have basically directed his decisioning. He knows that .

His reaction or no reaction, to the two, to me is too mild. This is not a business deal and this is not about him. But a naive, unprotected woman, he cares for.

In all his actions that he has taken..it seems he is thinking about everybody except Khushi. She is in the bottom of his priority list. So one questions does he even love her?

Irony is it not. Lucky for him then that Shyam was the prospective groom and he got to be the knight.

Hopefully seeing her so broken he will get his priorities straight.

Ps. We have his additional baggage of why he dreads being a dad.

I am so glad that you also thought exactly like me. Yes, someone else was giving me explanation for his behavior and going gaga over it.

I had to tell that we can agree to disagree, but somehow this is my expectation from him for his decade old marriage, and unconditional devotion of Khushi to this relationship.

Anyhow, it’s just a story and we all have our own expectations from the characters and I can have peace with that.

I also understand that his intentions were never wrong, but the way he executed has not been right either.

I disagree with him about telling his divorce plan to third-party to those mad bitches rather than to his wife first how can he take major decision like that, and keeping Khushi in dark not only for His decision for divorce, but also his one night stand and possibility of pregnancy.

Also, it’s kind of disgusting that Khushi was living under the same roof with him and because of his guilt he was ignoring her which is like hitting under the belt to me, and at the same time he was meeting, these bitches to take care of so-called pregnancy and his one night stand.

Sorry— I cannot digest that but again it’s just me.

I don’t need somebody else to come and give a explanation about this to me as I understand it’s just a story and he is flawed character. As I said earlier, my heart bleeds for Khushi that she has to go through all this trauma because of him and her fault is that she is too much self sacrificing and in a way emotionally dependent. . She got a good lesson from this and hopefully she will change after this.

He was doing annual trips coinciding with the annual puja at home. What was that puja for? Why does he not participate? Its can't just be about his distaste for religious events in general. There is deep seated hatred of his home town. He talked about a secret. There is something no one, including his family, know about. Did something horrible happen to him or he witnessed something?

Whatever this secret is, this may be a huge part of why he keeps running.

Why he didn’t go to Khushi. He wanted to. Just couldn’t.

Awesome research darling 😘. He was contemplating letting khushi go and that was something would have taken everyone away from him. And it’s like he stepped on a banana peel on top of a mountain. Gone down slippery slope, ppl are expecting him to talk to khushi while he was firefighting!!!!

Again, I am sorry if I am coming on as too strong or repetitive, but he did everything you guys are accusing him of not to do. I think at this point comments and previous notions are clouding what’s actually happened in the story.

There’s a hoard of professionals immediately on board the day he finds out Lavanya is pregnant. I don’t agree to the point that he doesn’t care for Khushi because even before he hired lawyers to protect him, he regulated his will and wealth to save Khushi! She was his priority even then!

While dealings with fires all around, he should also tell Khushi of what’s going on? Who left her entire life on auto pilot and went on a self destruct parade????

And we know what kind of a person Lavanya is. He didn’t. He was doing what a morally right guy would do. All of you want to say look at this objectively and then go blind in front of Khushi’s pain.

I will never say Arnav didn’t make mistakes. He did. Huge ones. Especially not dealing with his guilt and ignoring her so much. Let’s just not forget this was also the time he was dealing with all these lawyers and photographers.

But it’s like reasons are being created out of thin air to label him the worst kind of human there was and it’s just absurd to me, I’m sorry.

The dreaded revelation. The good part of it is we can not blame him for infidelity any longer. That's not what he did. What we can blame him for is stupidity. He courted trouble by staying at that party. He didn't want to be alone but all that drinking did not do him any good. He didn't take the drug Lavanya offered, but what was in his last drink? It was probably tampered with. Who did it?

Manali had taken the drunk Lavanya out of there but she showed up again. She must have looked for him and found him on the terrace. Since he was drugged most likely, it did not happen by accident. Lavanya and Manali are the clear suspects here. Not sure to what extent Lavanya comes up with the plots. Is it mostly Manali? But Lavanya can not be excused because she goes along.

He woke up in his underwear. Which part? He is not that stupid that he will not figure out that if the bottom part was still on him, they did nothing more than sleep. He might not have been in any shape to do anything. Even if there was nothing more that happened, sleeping naked with another woman is still wrong. The man he is, he would consider that adultery.

I want to add one more thing, the photographs which were sent to Khushi were in reverse order to the events that actually happened.

They showed their relationship developed over a period of time to khushi.

Now we know the terrace pictures were not what they looked like. Lavanya's visit to the house did happen but it was just that. A visit. We still don't know about the restaurant pictures. For all we know, Manali have been the one taking the pictures. The night on the terrace, she would have kept tabs on him. The property was in a secluded area, owned by Lavanya. A random person would not have been there. Manali could have easily found a guy to carry out the blackmail part on her instructions. How much was Lavanya involved?

He dropped a glass from the terrace and was about to fall himself. A random person might have made some noise seeing all this happen. Manali would not have.

He gets drugged. Lavanya follows him to the terrace. She doesn't let him go, doesn't get any help, but takes him to her room. Pictures get taken. It sure sounds like a plot.

Yaa i did pointed that out after part 1 of arnav's memory lane.

That was to make khushi believe the gradual development of their relation from meeting in his fav joint to getting physical.

I am very sure it is not Mala behind it.

The pregnancy announcement has to be the biggest irony in this story. A wife is denied a child and a marriage is on the verge of a collapse because of it. One wrong move and another woman shows up saying she might be pregnant.

Lavanya shows up exactly one month after the incident. What does she mean by "might"? Why didn't she check and confirm first before showing up? A woman like Lavanya has her path all mapped out. Pregnancy would not be on her agenda. She has contracts already signed. She knows the drill with sleeping around and would not be foolish enough to get pregnant and derail her career. She is not a novice at this game.

For now, I am taking this news with a grain of salt.

If she really does turn up pregnant, that would be the biggest punch in the gut for Khushi. You can not have a child but here is another woman who is having your husband's child?
