So a news breaks yesterday & all hell breaks lose in this forum. Two groups sniping at each other. At the end of the day its just a show & actors who dont even know our existence. Is it really worth trading verbal barbs & jibes, hurting real people for some one who are not even part of our life.

People die, babies are born, scientific break through happens, wars are fought & amidst all this life goes on.

Its so easy to laugh at others' failures, their wrong decisions & kick someone when they are down. But it takes utmost grace & compassion to understand others' pain & if not help them at least not put them down.

So request to all the fans as well as bashers. Can you all please give it a rest?

My intention is not indulge in moral policing or posturing. Its just a genuine request since many people like me genuinely loved this show & the actors who brought these characters to life through their wonderful acting. We come here to take a break from our sorry lives, read few beautiful FFs, relive those magical moments/episodes, indulge in some harmless fangirling & forget out woes. So can we stop this toxicity & mud slinging.

Of course this is just a request & not an imposition

👏Thanks for the much needed post @Angels11 ... very well written 😊... agree with you on all the mentioned points !

Very well articulated.
Each person associated with the show contributed to making it what it was. A show unique in its appeal even 5 years later. It is sad to see that appreciation for one part of it has to be shown by denigrating another part. The use of "and" as a conjunction appears to have become defunct in this context.
Your point about the very reason we come here is spot on. Khushi right now would be saying, "Asli duniya mein hi rehna achha hai, Sapnon ki duniya mein sirf dil toot te hai".

And now your post!!!

If what u have mentioned is what's happening in this forum, its really sad

I fully agree to the fact, that v people sneak peek into this forum to have a break from our Asli duniya..

And v r in this forum bcos of IPKKND and the cast crew who brought life to this

Hope the others understand this
Thanks fir putting this note :)

Exactly. I ve mentioned multiple times in the past as well. This is that 1 rare show which had a strong supporting cast. I love all the actors from Nani to La to Mami to Akash. Every single actor contributed to the success of this show. This is v rare considering that in most of the shows its only the leads (even that would leave me cold sometimes) but here even the actor who plays Mama shined in his role. So sad that in the name of supporting 1 actor ppl are attacking another

Not sure about others but i definitely come here only to escape asli duniya which is not rosy rosy unlike these shows. I escape into fantasy & come back stronger to face my problems. So tuf when you are inundated with spite & negativity here in the forum as well. Dont we ve that enuf already in our life.

Also why kick someone when they are already down

Very well said. Three cheers to the thread maker. I completely agree with you . I did not read all the comments. So, please take it easy if my views are already expressed.
I always tell people not to take a dig at actors. We are enjoying this so called IPK journey because actors have done a tremendous job in the first place.
I do not want to know what happened.
Actors are human beings and they can do whatever they want, like you and me.
If anybody is worried about their favourite actor, criticise constructively.
For example, instead of saying "hey girl, you look ugly in that Saree, you can say I think this colour does not suit you, try a different colour".
If we are a fan of this show, we should have learnt this from Arnav by now.😊
Cheers...

I love your post!
100% agree with you.
I wish there were more genuine people on this forum, but it seems like a lot of them come here just to defame or talk ill about others.
I honestly wish this world itself were a better place, where there was more kindness and love, without people being vile and filled with hatred.
Its beyond me how some people 'hate' others when they truly know nothing about them personally.

Loved these lines that you said, its very true!

I absolutely loved ur eg. Yeah even if u r criticizing cant u soften the blow a bit, tell it more politely. Yes Barun took some bad decisions, his career is in the pits rt now. Any reasonable fan & not a fanatic ll readily acknowledge this. But having said this, is it really nice to rejoice so much at someone's failures. Does it not reflect poorly on us.

Of course there seems to be gory history. Ppl claim that even Barun fanatics did the same once upon a time. Wrong is wrong. Thats why here i ve used the generic terms fans & bashers. So it would apply to both the fan groups!

Thanks dear & the v reason why i started this thread was to try & at least get the more reasonable voices heard via this post. And i can already see lots of folks participating in this conversation. We can have healthy debates & constructive criticism. But lets say NO to spite, hate & personal attacks!
