hi, anyone know if they have announced the jodi nominees at all or do we not get to vote on that and it'll be a jury vote? on their fb page they said they would announce soon but i haven't seen anything yet and time is running out. also, when is the last date for voting?

i have even a doubt whether SPA 2013 is going to be as entertaining and popular 2012 SPA, because last year they had a quite number of serials nominated, but this year the following serials

Ek doosre se karte hain pyar hum

sajda tere pyar mein

khamoshiyan

kaali ek punar avatar

all the above serials went off air due to poor trps/viewership, then the left overs are the old ones Sasural genda phool (which also finished) YRKKH, Pratigya, DABH, these three were last year too and the new added ones would be PKDHMMPP, Veera, but SaraswathiChandra is a relatively new one, i doubt whether it has the criteria of the duration of the aired period, to get nominated, or else I have a feeling SP is delaying so that the new serials can also participate as literally they dont have any shows like IPKKND we had last year in so many categories, to get nominated.

Inspite of all these limitations, if SP is able to create another magical evening of SPA 2013, it would be hats off to them.

last year same time, we had promos of spa awards last week of feb and continued till march and aired on march 24th. and this year april is going to finish, not even a single promo is out.

i doubt whether this channel will even nominate him because both have parted in not so good terms, as the channel's very unusual disclaimer about BS on the last day of IPK was very immatured and pathetic, and also after the SPA 2012, Barun hardly went to any award show, though he was nominated/won too in many other award events, but it was collected by others and one by Sanaya in one of the events.

So I doubt whether he will be present in any of the awards irrespective of being nominated or not.

I wonder why a channel would behave so unprofessionally? What they want to prove by blocking his nominations? Really disgusting. They can block things once or twice, but not always. If his work is recognized by a a mass, one channel and its influence won't be suffice to block his success. Time will tell everything.
