yeah..so true...I was just thinking why give away the story for others to write...is it not their job..but I guess they are just tired of so many complaints about comedy etc etc...

she is soo smart...she just wants to know what kind of episodes we fans want to see...i think she is bored of the real script writers...we will always support u Gul...just chill...😛

Both my friend and I laughed but I definitely took that as a general pulse of what audience is feeling. I have taken an interview of Gul Khan and hence people believe I will be their voice to her.

I met up with her and we obviously discussed Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon and the anxieties the audience has shared with me. I was hoping for an interview where she would explain her stance on the current track and what fans can look forward to in near future. She stumped me with a googly. She asked me to create a forum where Fans give their ideas on what they want to see in the story. She has promised to read all the ideas that she gets, of course no promises on them being incorporated but she definitely wants to know what is it that the audience wants. This magnanimous gesture where they are actually inviting audience to give feedback in a unique fashion is commendable. Gul Khan knows there has always been brickbats along with lot of love for their shows and this gesture could backfire on her.

So, here is an opportunity where you become the proverbial writer for the show and tell her what would you do if you were to take this story further. Tell her what tracks would you want to work on. Put on your writer's hat and share your ideas with her. To me this is a positive reaction from a Production House where audience feedback has value enough to be read. I shall personally take all the ideas to her. I request all the fans of the show to demonstrate positivity and give ideas rather than complain about what has gone wrong according to them. Think about what you would do to salvage the situation rather than pointing fingers. She has said, " Story ideas are good but please don't send us scenes.. A story idea is a broad thought.. A plot which should last over 50 to 100 episodes atleast.. Also, making arnav and khushi fall in love is the obvious thought.. We want to do it too and we will do it.. So kindly refrain from suggesting that.. As mentioned earlier, that is the obvious which will happen.. The main crux is what after that?"

good for her, smart lady. . .along with inviting ideas. . . she has laid the ground rules too. . .as most of us only give idea on what we would like to see. . . . lasting few episodes. . . if ppl take this seriously, then she has actually thrown a curve ball at us. . . in essence its easy to suggest story ideas but very difficult to stretch them into 50-100 episodes. . .lets see. . . we do have very talented and gifted writers on this forum

good luck to all that give it a try👍🏼. . . she has opened a portal and invited fresh talent that may bring in stimulating and innovative ways of unfolding the story

I for one like to let writers tell their story and then decide if it was substantiated or not. . .have seen some of my fave (ie Heroes) shows go down the drain when creators let themselves be influenced by the viewers and let go of the power of their own conviction to tell the story.
