I haven't watched the episode.

So I want to know when he fought with Nani and then the guests, did Arnav do it out of caring for Khushi? Or was it for Mam's sake too?

May be he's keeping his words.."lets behave like wife and man in front of the world"..so maybe that's why he was protecting her...It didn't seem like he did it because he cared for her, but he might have (in his mind, we have no idea).

But later on he said if this happens to anyone in his family he would repeat the same thing..

well i guess both...since he was mad at how the lady guest was hurling taunts at khushi in front of so many ppl...he didnt like it one bit...and also he wanted to clear maami's confusion...so reacted like dat...😃

I dont think it was entirely a pretense and I am only saying this because it is shown as to how even though he tries really hard to hate her, deep down he obviously loves her. And he feels restless when she is hurt, crying or has to bear the brunt from the family. So even though he shows he doesn't care he does, and he stood up for her not to please her maybe, but maybe because his instincts forced him to.

Arnav definitely cares for Khushi,no doubt abt that..Although his reaction was mainly due to "lets pretend to be a perfect couple in front of the whole world",his actions were genuine..

does asr know what he is feeling?

i think he is protecting himself. the more they hurt her the more he has to pace in the same spot and he is loosing his beauty sleep. so he is processing khushi to save himself from the trouble or

he want sole exclusive rights on hating her. an getting angry that others are stepping on his turf.
