For those who thought that decision to be easy on Arnav might want to change their view. Both Arnav and Khushi were obviously in pain, shameful and so helpless coz no matter what hurting their families was not their intention but alas circumstances made them do exactly that :( ...and both were unable to justify themself - Khushi because well she herself is totally lost and Arnav because at the time the truth can be fatal to Anjali...Both BS and SI were good 👏

I quite liked Daljeet in this ep. I think she portrayed Anjali's incredulity, total incomprehension and pain well. Anjali could not believe that her chote would do such a huge thing behind her back and deprived her of that joy...the joy of seeing him open his heart and settle down with a girl he loves...The scene in which she distanced herself from her brother was sad to see...

But I guess tonight my personal fav was buaji. Really loved the subtlety of her acting. She nailed it. The pain, the hurt, the refusal to admit that her sanka devi could have done something like this even when she had the glaring proof before her eyes were all palpable...Kudos to her 👍🏼 It felt like the faith she had on Khushi broke a little...

Sorry tanthya but it doesn't seem like we're done with the water buckets... Anjali will not digest her brother's elopement that soon...

I am guessing they went for the actual wedding because it was the only way in which Khushi would agree. Ever the businessman, he knows what to give to close the deal. So he gives her the actual wedding and limits it to 6 months. Unless of course, they did not show the wedding happening because it never did and they came in with the external signs of a marriage for Khushi's sake. Which simply does not make sense, because whatever the stake this is something she would not accept. So I'm guessing the CVs went this way and when 6 months are up, misunderstandings cleared, tears shed, smiles appearing, they show a proper wedding. For themselves, families and the world.

I agree he will try to get at Shyam by laying traps through Khushi and when nothing happens, he realises he was wrong about her and she is as much a victim. This is the only logical way out. Then Payash can also get into the act and sort out Arhi's misunderstandings.

You may be right about Anjali. Hers could be the nafrat keeping them apart.

I still have hopes on Akash cos of all the ppl Shyam would be asking about Khushi's arrival [ on havan day] with him..and there was also another instance when shyam acts out of character regards Khushi ...

My thoughts:

OF ALL the days to get a prediction right, it had to be this one

As I expected Khushi got slapped and the scene for me of the whole episode.

She gets slapped, the impact pushes her towards Arnav, he holds her and he GLARES AT GARIMA...

How Dare you do that to her? (forget the fact that Garima is Khushi's mom)

How Dare anyone Hurt Khushi like that?

There was fury and protectiveness in his eyes, Don't You dare ever do that again..

Then she looks up at him scared, only to see him very reluctantly move away his face in regret.

He can pretend to hate her as much as he wants, He cannot stop Loving her.😳

Yup...The residual Arnav is still existing somewhere within !!

Barun was absolutely brilliant in that scene.👏

Sanaya was outstanding as a helpless Khushi who still has no idea why the sudden marriage, knows she has hurt both families, has no answer to the questions being hurled at her and keeps looking at for answers she herself seeks.👏

For the characters:

I loved the way Arnav began the proposal - You love your sister right, You can do anything for her right. He knows he and she share this common trait.

Marry me for 6 months, or else the wedding is off.

Khushi is apalled and fights back. Shocked that he can propose something like that to her and hurt that she thought he genuinely cared for her (humain laga...)

She puts up a valiant fight but ultimately has to surrender as she has been doing all her life, putting her family's interests ahead of hers.

In the FBs, when she finally says yes and in the end when he looks at her and she is looking at him with a pleading why?...

And I saw regret, deep one at that:

When he proposed to her (This is not the way I wanted to do it)
When She got slapped (I am sorry I am the reason you are facing this)
When confronted with family (This is not how you should have been welcomed)

I loved the reactions of the rest of the family nicely enacted by each actor👏

Mami as usual. Mamaji unusually grim, Nani Furious, Anjali shocked and hurt.
Garima furious, Buaji hurt and angry.

The younger ones Akash, NK, Payal too shocked to react and keeping quiet while the elders do the questioning.

Shyam they showed too little of him today rightly so, first family has to be shown and he was too shocked to react probably. We will get that on Monday I think.

BTW, the old bg scores were good to hear, also did you all notice when he pulls her towards him during the proposal scene, their stance is same as the Dori Breaking scene probably with the same bg score too, that was a nice touch.

Not just the holding by the wrist, Shweths..I also liked how this two were placed..This two talked it out by the poolside , overlooking the hall which was below and they stood above all the other..Both shouldering the responsibilities of their respective family's, Both are mountains who protect their family's against any calamity ..and y'day too both were trying to protect their family in their own way ...

Added to this , I also liked the calmness of his voice, he is breaking inside yet not a whimper about it to anyone ..

They are back where they began, Payal's marriage at stake, he wants the truth, she has no clue what he is talking about or why is he doing this, he uses power to have his way...

So the isolation of Arnav-Khushi begins from their family. Their Sacrifice unknown unappreciated by their family.

A very well shot episode with timely FBs.👏

I hope Monday Arnav leads the fightback, maybe another slap or an almost slap to Khushi (the way Buaji is going I wouldn't be surprised)would spur him to say,

ENOUGH...She is my wife now. We treat \Women with respect in Raizada Family and now she is a Raizada. Accord her the respect she deserves.

To his family, You guys wanted me to get married, right. You all like Khushi, So what is the big deal? I don't believe in this customs and I got married to her.

What is done is done. No more discussions on this.

I loved the way Arnav held Khushi's hand and didn't let go, I loved the look he gave Garima when she slapped Khushi. If looks could kill. It just goes to show under the hurt and anger is someone who still loves Khushi, while he is guilty himself of inflicting pain upon her it kills him to see others do the same to her.

I don't think actual, even the signed up contract is also actual wedding. What me and Tant are thinking is the traditional way didn't happen. If you have gone through my analysis, then you know why. Khushi is the "Dowry" here and she had to bow down for the sake of her sister. Where will ASR go for the wedding??? Temple??? He doesn't believe in God and he will go to the temple??? I doubt. That is soo not his character. And Khushi, what choice she had??? actual wedding for 6 months?? or contract wedding??? either way she got the social stigma stamp. She is humiliated either way. He is not going to give her "HIS" name, in a true sense. When Khushi didn't even get the answer on why he is doing this to her then do you think he will listen to her about the traditional wedding and after hearing the 6 months' condition what will she ask for??? As it is she is humiliated.

Lets see ASR. Do you think he will do that without his Di. No, he believes in the "Solemnity of Marriage". He will not do that. Right now he is all for a business dealing with Khushi to buy time and handle Shyaam- Anjali matter. That's his supreme priority.
