Shivika: Pieces of the Past Unfold - Page 2

After a long long time an episode that has made me excited. This is what i have been waiting for since the first time i watched Anika on my screen. The trivedi house scene was fab fab. Lol at little Anika being a smaller version of big Anika i like that they have shown that Anika kept her childhood alive in someways. NM-SC were on point, you give them material and space to work with and they shine, Now i am looking forward to getting to know how Anika Trivedi became sirf Anika hoping the cvs dont dissapoint, after the mess they made with the crucial vanvaas track i dont have expectation.But last few weeks contrived effort to put all the blame on Roop bua 2.0 and them opening a long awaited track quite speedily gives me a sense of finality, which is bittersweet becuase despite my contentions with Ib i would miss seeing sc and nm on screen together.

well it was really a pleasant surprise by lekhikaji giving us glimpse of Anika ka bachpan... you are right it always felt like a dream that Anika's past is being explored with so much thought behind it... as I was saying in Rimi's thread... ironically a person who struggled all her life for a name loves to give names to each and everything in her life be it a tv, a cycle, a fan or a recorded cassette of her bachapan ke kisse with her papa and choti behen... I just ❤️ this Chotisi Anika.

not to forget nazuk Billuji ka cough duty to dust in the old Trivedi house as he entered it...😆

It was a very small scene of Anika inquiring abt Billu ke whereabouts to Pinky and she pyyar se ensuring Anika ke Billu fine haine and must have broken his phone esliye not ans. it was nice...

You have already said all for the ShivIka scene in the room... But IF i hear it correctly Anika made reference to CHALUMATI (TV) par koie show which was making her bheja fry made Shivay got emotional listening to that word he just saw she has written in her home and emotionally pulled her in a hug...❤️

OBRO's ka scene too was for a change giving old IB feels... as he rightly pointed out bhabhi might be heartbroken but then we all are here to sambhalo her... and she will be more shattered if she gets to know abt this from someone else... 👍🏼

👏to NM-SC for such a beautiful performance considering they must have shot all these scenes in a little rush to create a NM scenes ki banks...

A big 👍🏼 to Lekhika ji for giving this heartfelt episode...

I loved how there was respect for Mr trivedi not ittu aa bhi doubt just caz he was anika's papa. This guy knows nothing about HVT but still that automatic beleif .. so beautiful

I am still overwhelmed by the episode so will add more on it later. About shivaay hiding it i dont agree with him but then again from his pov it makes sense he is thinking in a way he needs to protect her not in a wider scope where it really isn't his decision to take this is about her identity& father's respect. He has extremely noble intention infact to some extent endearing to that he feels the need to clear HVT's name cos he is anika's dad. Again in a way blind faith so far. Set up for a conflict this is where despite noble intention a wrong decision will backfire badly.

The caps look lovely and sounds like a totally Shivikalicious episode... after so long. This one is why we are still here enduring months on end of lame stuff and NM-SC make sure we can't let go. They have my whole heart. I like how as far as Shivika is concerned their progression has been maintained despite plenty of other lame stuff, which is so rare in a GEC couple. I love how for Shivaay it's all about Anika and his care and concern and love for her which what I would have expected considering how far they have come and writers have always kept that intact because in this genre you can never tell when that changes!! She is his first priority rather than Sr. Oberois or bua's plotting or all the skeletons lurking everywhere literally and figuratively.

Be back after I have watched the episode for more.

I loved your post. It was truly a heart warming episode today and just absolutely brilliant in execution. One thing tho, Shivaay hasn't lied to Annika at all. He told her what he found out which is her father died of a heart attack at the hospital. No body knows that heart attack was induced by bua. So yea I don't know how exactly I feel about him hiding the rest of what he knows because what rudy said is true cause hearing it from outsiders such as kapoor sisters or bua will break her. But for now Shivaay is clean.

@bold: Aww man, now that just makes this all all the more touching...so beautifully put👏...and so true...the girl without a surname loves naming everything around her...what irony.

And yes, you are right, Anika saying "Chalumati" again in present day did make Shivaay pull her emotionally into the hug...it was a trigger even though he was already looking at her emotionally when she was feeding him...she has no idea about what's to come and he just feels so fiercely protective of her...that vulnerability showed in that moment.

Pinky is being so nice to Anika aaj kal, thoda darr lagta hai mujhe...haha but yeah it was a nice moment of her telling Anika ki Shivaay ne phone tod diya hoga...lol

I'm amazed that we got Shivaay in literally every scene in today's epi...kudos to NM for such great performances even while rushing to bank the epis...and yes, solid props to the writers for the wonderfully written epi today.

Did anyone else get super deja vu of these two scenes from last year too? The emotional feeding and the sudden pulling into a hug? These are two of my fav. scenes and I'm super happy to see these parallels from last year brought back for however much we are getting them :)...Last year, Shivaay fed her...this year Anika fed him...last year also the emotional hug was over Shivaay remembering what all hardships Anika had faced in her childhood...
