I Often find myself saying a little prayer of Thanks for You
I have been thinking to write about this long time back but something or the other used to come up and i felt may be not now. May be it was the faith n trust in the makers that it will happen when the time is right. However now I want to put it fwd coz my belief in the makers still remains intact & also that I need to get it out of my system.
Let me begin stating that I m a big Gul Khan fan. I still maintain that there is nobody, I repeat nobody who does complete justice to a show in terms of concept, passion, romance, angst and the look. Also a huge fan of Nakuul Mehta & have been following his work since his first show . Thus when u see a combo of two of your favorites coming live you can't help but just watch it with a smile. Together they with the complete team have weaved Magic that only they are capable of.
A great marriage is not when a "perfect couple" comes together, Its when an "imperfect couple" learns to enjoy their differences.
Shivaay & Annika took their first step into the holy matrimony with a lot of angst. With the unseen thread that binded him to her, he felt betrayed that she crossed the line in his own house leading him to take the step of marriage of one day.(ofcourse there were other reasons too) Her unseen faith in him dwindled when he forced her into it. But once the cat was out of the bag both of them known to be takkar ke Ishqbaaaz left no stoned unturned to take the reign of their marriage in their own hands. Each dwindling at one point but the other taking care and moving forward giving confidence to the better half. After all the Journey was more important than the destination.
As they illuminated and explored each others world, they were beginning to fall in Love. While he was making her aware of his own world, She was slowly opening up n telling him about her past still holding a lot within. As they adorned and embellished taking bullets for each other, their relationship was growing by leaps n bounds.
To be someone's Happliy Ever After, You have to start once upon a Time
An evil eye was then cast upon their almost perfect world and she took a grave step to protect him. Little knowing that now he is more afraid of dealing with the world all alone. Peace restored with all the angst only when they both acknowledged that they wont do without each other. And just like Shivaay always knows what to do, he bent down on his knees to promise her the wedding of her dreams and she took a step along with him with all her might. Under the blessing of their family who play a very important role their galaxy they once again tied the knot knowing that this is their love, laughter & happily ever after.
But in Today's world Happily Ever After is not a Fairy Tale but a Choice
Now generally fictional stories should end here. But we are talking about our very own Shivika and thus their story begins from here.
Whats more to explore in their relationship I often find myself pondering over this question. More so when you yourself are happily married. After a lot of debating I feel they must explore the power of Touch, extremely important for the emotional, mental & physical well being ( mind you in the same order) of marriage and thus the two individuals. Coz with touch you bond more, as its an act of connecting with your better half so deeply, you can feel you are looking into their soul.
A touch can say more than the words can ever express
Just like a circle is everlasting and complete, a relationship between a husband and wife isn't complete without the power of touch. In other words it shall give a sense of belonging to both Shivaay and Annika towards each other. The feeling of being lonely in the world loses its value if you have the touch of your partner right by your side. It gives you that feeling of oneness, that special feeling that there is someone waiting just for you. It adds on a different dimension to your story.
We feel extremely proud that the show has stood the test of time and has broken barriers in the television world. With close to 400 episodes it has formed a legacy of its own. The great part is it still has infinite tangents to explore w.r.t three couples and we are looking forward for more. Kudos to our writers who have begun to explore some real topics in these relationships. We have had some really good moments by the CVS of shivika before marriage & therefore, my expectation as a viewer has increased manifolds I want to see the power of touch in their upcoming moments & Anika being the woman of today doesn't shy away or the man that shivaay is he teaches a lesson or two while leading her into this.
With Rikara wedding around the corner or their relationship taking a new turn the position and focus of newlyweds needs to move towards them and thus this is the time for shivika to bask in the glory of newlyweds just for some time.
I have penned down what I felt and thus I don't expect any bashing, mocking on this post. My point is if you can't appreciate then please don't criticize. I am open to different viewpoints but not letting down each other. At last I just want to say
Walk with the Dreamers
The Coragoeus cheerful planners
The Doers with their head in the clouds and feet on the ground
Let their spirit ignite a fire within you to leave this world better than you found it.
