Investigating Mahi came about as a coincidence though. His face and his potential heart condition made her think there may be a link.. and let me say it's weird how Annika is the only one thinking?? No other family member has questioned why and how Shivaay and Mahi can look identical?.. so Annika's investigation is slightly different, atleast in my eyes. I'm sure if she said anything, she would get dismissed anyway because they'd say there was no way Mahivaay could be linked..

Annika's background on the other hand, is sensitive and I firmly believe Shivaay should speak to her about it, see what she wants. It's a very heavy thing for her.. especially given all the hardship she had to grow uo with

I have mixed feelings regarding this...but i think he should investigate about her past...something major happened to her in childhood...so it's good if that secrets will be revealed...Annika is investigating about mahi and shivaay heina so shivaay also had that right

look at it this way:

2- he was curious about her past ------> she got upset with him -----> he started investigating behind her back despite knowing she doesn't like it

Hmmm .. maybe. But again, Mahi was an imposter. Why is no one investigating him??? It just does not make sense.

Annika's past- I felt as if Pinky and Shivaay where the only two who were actually affected by this. 😆 Everyone else was just a bit shocked.. i dunno. Maybe i should watxh the episode again🥱

she started investigating mahi because he saved sso as she thinks. He came as imposter but did not really hust anyone physically. he looks same as sso, voice is same everything is same so it is very usual to get a doubt. and she told shivaay even before as in her monologue she said that whenever she talks about mahi, SSO get angry so she did talk before but since he gets angry so then she decided to not tell him but still she told after coming back. And all this she is doing for shivaay. She doesnot anything for herself in this.

Shivaay wants to dig her past more for himself than to her bcoz he wants to know NKK of her wife which is very true to his character. His beliefs are wrong & thats what I am saying is what he is doing is wrong.

In tomorrow episodes if he thinks that he must do this for annika so that annika will know about her family then I would say he is definitely right but as of today he is doing for himself as he told his brothers that NKK matters to him and he wants to know that to which background his wife belongs. Its not that he will leave her but he wants to/has to know about her NKK bcoz of his strong beliefs. so point is that he is still conflicted in heart & mind and thats what is gonna happen in this track and at the end both heart & mind have to come into same terms

I understand your point about intention being his own NKK. But why not? If she has some kind of NKK it will make it easy for him. He can answer his mom. We do look for what is convenient for us. Ofcourse if he finds inconvenient past then he will be in a fix which he will have to overcome.

I think its more realistic and not-filmy hero types that he did not immly declare he doesn't care about NKK at all. He said anika ki galti nahi hai but i want to know my wife's background. Deep rooted beliefs cannot go away soon. Sometimes it never goes even if its wrong belief. I never expected him to give up NKK beliefs totally for everyone. Ppl do have wrong belief systems and live with it. Learns to not affect/disrespect others because of it is enough.

On a personal standalone note as a character..no he is not doing it in correct way without taking anika into confidence...while on a serial track mode..well fans were asking for story to move forward and closing many pending issue and anika past was one of those issues..who is anika..who is chutki and so on (is chutki gaura sarma)..i just hope they dont show anika parents as mittals (europe biggest businessman anf 5x wealthy than oberoi and having royal lineage)..like it used to happen in disney movies and various other movies/serials...i want anika parents to be as normal as possible (if they are alive)..or her grandparents or whatver..the nkk wall and acceptance should come with anika past and lineage as simple as possible and not some.big honcho type

Mixed feelings about it... I dont like how he's doing it behind her back and that too through Sahil. She's going to be major ticked off when she finds out.

On the other hand I get why he's doing it. In the future their kids will be curious too about their mother's background. It's also in their best interest to find out... I mean imagine if their kids end up marrying someone who's closely blood related to Anika.
