For Shivaay, NKK always mattered. We've known this from episode one, from the time Shivaay came to the mandir. From the time we know Annika, we recognise her bracelet. Similarly, from the time we know Shivaay, we recognise his principles. There's nothing wrong in trying to know about a persons family. Maybe if Annika's family is still alive he can help her reconciling her with her parents. Keeping the NKK aside, it can also be Shivaay's curiosity. I don't find anything wrong in it. Shivaay is not hiding it from Annika either. He asked sahil about it, he never told sahil anything about not telling Annika. Maybe he just wants to do his part in helping her just how Annika is doing by finding out more about Mahi.

Of course what he's doing is wrong - that's the whole idea of this track. To prove to Shivaay that his soch is WRONG.

If we consider his character, he's doing exactly what Shivaay would but that's what the writers are trying to tell us ke he's WRONG to think this way and this soch needs to be eliminated.

I frankly am not annoyed at him AT ALL. In fact, I think he's doing pretty well till now. So many times I expected him to give up on Anika but he came right back for her <3.

I have no complaints of him as of now - apart from the few things that're always going to be wrong with Shivaay (read: GK hero) 😆

Same Risha. I too do not have any complains with Shivaay but my point is what he is doing is wrong. He is not doing it for annika's shake that annika will get her family ( of course if he finds out then she will get it but this is not his motive) but he is doing because he wants to know her NKK as he believes in it & thats what the conflict is :)

Agreed with you. From day 1 we've been shown pretty clearly k Shivaay's prejudices are wrong. Yes, he's doing this for himself. Yes, what he's doing is wrong from a moral perspective. But character-wise, I don't think he's acting out-of-character

I adore shivaay baby... but i must say that he is wrong here. He ain't doing this for annika but for his own principles. I'm not complaining though!

Hope he find out that Oberoi's (shakti ) has something to do with annika's past this gonna be amazing. 😊

I am actually quite pleasantly surprised ...No scratch that...I am blissfully euphoric with the way Shivaay is handling this. Completely in character while not losing any of the character progression that has happened with Shivaay ( does this make sense??!)

He is conflicted ,but trying his best to keep the conflict to himself. He didn't even want to tell omru.

So excited for this track !! Atlast no external villains... Just Shivika ❤️

yes totally agree. Character wise he is doing right. If he wouldn't have done then it would have been out of character 😆

remeber that she didn't ask for his permission when investigating mahi ... she said that she knew he would not say yes and thus told him after she looked and found mahi

however, he didn't even start looking and she got angry at him for even being curious and decided to leave the house ...

so technically their situations are the same ... she's investigating mahi cause he's related to shivaay and he is investigating her past because it's related to her

it's the same thing really

about mahi impacting their lives ... so did annika's truth ... it had a huge imoact on everyone ... no one knew annika was adopted ... it was always there that she doesn't have NKK yes ... but the whole doesn't know anything about her past came as a shock

look at it this way:

1- she started investigating mahi before the heart problem thing-----> then she told shivaay -----> then she continued investigating behind his back despite him saying no

2- he was curious about her past ------> she got upset with him -----> he started investigating behind her back despite knowing she doesn't like it
