I can't even begin to fathom how infuriating it must be for her to read this comment. I am not saying she's above criticism, let's face it, there are plenty of things that I find fault with her shows myself. But questioning the screen space allocation on the basis of social media popularity was a lousy comment to make.

Agree she has many flaws in her shows and as a creator she defends them when fans question, I haven't agreed with many of her defending replies and won't do it in future too if they don't make sense. But here she is totally right, it's an insult to creatives who write based on characters they have in mind and not actors. Also the show is just 50 episodes old, multistarer, story of brothers, the creatives can't push everything together once for all. They have already erred big time in convincing Ishana character, somehow they have to fix it up, so may be its taking some time.

Everyone will get their due time, right now it's Shivika with ishkara and rumya alongside. In the near future when a stable foundation has been built for Annika and Shivaay and they are moving ahead in their love story and feelings are awakening then the main focus will be on ishkara and rumya. Fans just have to be patient. The show really is about bromance in reality. Each brother is an ishqbaaz. They will each get a beautiful love story. For now ishkara and rumya fan base will have to be content with the slow build up to their favourite Jodi onscreen.

I have read so many derogatory comments on IG from many days. If any picture of any actors is posted by Gul, urlremoved or even Starplus, you will see atleast 5 to 6 people cribbing about Ishana screen space and some demeaning Anika, who wouldn't get irritated. I was annoyed few days back that the whole forum has been made a gabbar Singh adda that people post everything only inside an AT with fear of backlashes, cribbings. Seriously what kind of an undeclared bullying it is.

I'm still annoyed about that. I've noticed some people in AT don't feel comfortable enough to post in the main forum, either cause it'll incite fanwars or cause they don't wanna upset the other fangroup. There must be something wrong with a forum if you can't even openly praise your own fav characters, make analysis posts about them, or even gush about them freely without feeling uneasy and thus choose to be confined to an AT...

Funny thing even a bromance filled episode faced complains about Ishana/IshKara screenspace when this show is clearly about bromance an many said when they do have that still they complain. Annika was there from the first episode itself and even then her screenspace was equal to the brothers so it's not like this all been happening recently, Soumya and Ishana were introduced later on.

Where does her reply indicate that she is taking stand for Shivika, she didn't even mention them. She took stand for all her actors, her choices and her belief in their capabilities when they were put down by comparing the fandom of one actor. She took stand for her team and I feel she is absolutely right in doing so. I don't see any baisedness.
