Yeah. It's quite possible that this is one of the factors why she is so spiteful. ( Though it's not justified in any way).

I don't know why women decide to stay in such marriages even after being independant.

I mean girls who r not financially solvent r often forced to stay in loveless marriages .

Then there r other factors also - like, society /kids/ pressure from parents & so on.

staying in the relationship or walking out of Both can be tough But at the end of the day , a girl needs to think that before everything she is an individual & take a stand for herself.

He was totally ready to marry her. As I've heard his father Harivanshrai Bachchan was against it, but his mother was supportive. Ultimately don't know why but nothing came of it.

Yeah in this matter she has all my sympathies. No woman should ever be made to face public humiliation this way. She was so grossly disrespected by her husband and that woman. And no concern or respect for the kids either. Maybe she stayed for the kids and her basa basaya ghar. Women do it still in this day and age and divorces were as it is uncommon then. But whatever the reason, atleast once amitabh went back he left it all behind. Rekha not so much. She's still pathetically after him. That's why I dislike that woman so much🤢🤢
