And right in the thick of this merry-go-round are the Gujarat Titans and the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Perhaps written off at the start of the season - either for being too old-school or for being too gung-ho - but now within touching distance of a spot in the playoffs, and within touching distance of where they will feel they should always be. A win tonight will take either of these teams top and while a loss will not derail their playoff charge completely, it might just throw a little spoke in their wheel. That too at a time when every single encounter feels consequential.
