Conditions and pitch expectations - Chepauk is no longer a landmine for batters as it used to be. In the only game played here this season so far, we have seen a first inning total in north of 200, and that being chased down with relative ease as well. And given how CSK’s bowling unit has leaked runs, they would hope to bring in some control this time around, especially in the Powerplay phase where they have conceded 74/0, 68/1, and 51/1 in the first six this year.

Whereas, Delhi Capitals have stuck with the same Ngidi-Mukesh-Natarajan pace trio. These three have collectively picked 13 wickets, which is the joint-third most in this season so far, with Mukesh having the highest dot ball percentage of all three.
