Actually Sanju got injured last year and skipped a few matches. Parag was the captain then. Once Sanju joined back, i think Parag wanted to remain the capitan and there were some disagreements between the mgt and players.

Ashwin once told that Dravid is a bit rigid . He wants things the same way once decided. In fact Ashwin felt GG was flexible... I remember reading that.

I feel Dravid will suit more for under 19, 16 where the boys have to be disciplined .

RR is more happy with Sangakara i think.

Because Sangakara took a break, they had to go with Dravid. But hats off to Dravid, he mentored the team despite being injured last year.

He said when Sanju wanted to leave RR, the first offers were from MI, DC, and KKR. CSK wasn't even there in the picture initially.

But when CSK finally approached, Sanju wanted to move there only, and now everything fell into place, and my son is playing for CSK.

Sanju did all his schooling n Delhi as his father was posted there. That's when he picked up cricket (and good Hindi).

He mentioned in one interview that if he has brought up n Kerala maybe he would have played football more .
