Prema Rawat to Sneh Rana, out Bowled!! Prema Rawat makes the breakthrough. The googly and it hits the top of off-stump. Lands on a good length and Sneh Rana made slight room on the back foot as she went to punch, misses and the stump is found. Good contribution from Rana. Sneh Rana b Prema Rawat 22(22) [4s-3]

17.2

4

Shreyanka Patil to Lucy Hamilton, FOUR, Lucy Hamilton gets lucky. She comes down the track to go across the line, is not to the pitch of the ball, swipes and the thick outside-edge flies wide of short third and runs away

17.3

6

Shreyanka Patil to Lucy Hamilton, SIX, this time Lucy Hamilton has no issues with getting to the pitch, she steps out and lofts all the way over long-on, clean hit and much-needed runs for DC-W!

17.5

6

Shreyanka Patil to Lucy Hamilton, SIX, more good batting. Lucy Hamilton showing why she is rated so highly.

Back to back sixers! smiley40

DC is on a roll! But will it prove to be too little too late ? Because anything less than 180 will be below par in this ground.

Fantastic recovery by DC-W to get to 166. After they were 10/4. Lauren Bell and Sayali Satghare made the new-ball count and were all over the top and middle-order like a rash. A peach from Bell to get Wolvaardt and a similar delivery from Satghare to get Kapp. It looked curtains for DC-W at that stage. But Shafali was around and she launched a stunning counterattack. Niki Prasad gave her good company before wickets fell again. Shafali though reached her 50 and Bell it was who once again got the important wicket of the opener. But the debutant Lucy Hamilton played superbly and hit sixes to take the score over 150. DC-W will be happy they have a total to bowl at even though it must be said this score looks below-par.

RCB needs 167 to win this match, and register their 4th win in a row.

Lauren Bell: I am not the meanest of fast bowlers going around. [Her wickets] I have never dismissed the batters around the legs before, so that was nice. There was something in the pitch and I tried to use that.

[On picking wickets alongside the dot balls] I am in this team to take wickets and creating pressure is the best way to do that.

[On Satghare] She set the tone at the other end. It was unbelievable how she went, bowling absolute seeds.

[On Shafali] We just tried to get her off strike and tried to frustrate her, which we managed to do in the end.

Final team scores after losing first four wickets for ≤ 20 in WPL (five instances)

10/4 to 166 all-out - DC-W vs RCB-W, Mumbai DYP, 2026

16/4 to 144/5 - UPW vs GG-W, Delhi, 2024

20/4 to 127/9 - GG-W vs DC-W, Bengaluru, 2025

18/4 to 105/9 - GG-W vs DC-W, Mumbai DYP, 2023

12/4 to 64 all-out - GG-W vs MI-W, Mumbai DYP, 2023

Lauren Bell became the sixth bowler to dismiss each of the opponent's top three in a WPL innings, after Marizanne Kapp (twice), Kim Garth, Shabnim Ismail, Meghna Singh and Kranti Gaud.

Lucy Hamilton’s 36 is now the highest individual score from No.9 or lower in the WPL, bettering Sophie Ecclestone’s 33 off 19 in a tied finish against the same opponent in Bengaluru last year.

From 10/4 , DC scored a decent total, put a good target for RCB.

Now, the question is, whether they will be able to defend this total or not, let us see....
