SRH have already scored 260 or more thrice this season. The Royals, meanwhile, have conceded a 200-plus score just once. This game is a contest between the best batting team in the IPL and the best bowling side.
"Manifesting SRH finally letting Glenn Phillips have a game today!" -- Looks unlikely, though, unless SRH decide to bring him in for Aiden Markram....
The Royals have batted first in each of these sides' past five meetings, winning thrice. SRH, though, did win the last time these teams faced each other, with Abdul Samad and Glenn Phillips engineering a daring heist right at the end.
Rajasthan Royals, the immovable object. Eight wins out of nine, 16 points on the board and with a foot and four toes in the playoff door. They have won when having to defend, they have won when having to chase, and they have won every time they have been on the road. The only game they have lost this season, was one they probably should have won too. That is how dominant they have been.
Now, onto the Sunrisers Hyderabad. An irresistible force, especially when they get it right. A powerhouse batting line-up, and a side capable of blowing any opposition out of the water. The last week, though, has not been very fruitful. They have lost twice in succession and have floundered while chasing, thus, raising a question mark over their chasing ability.
So, here we are, back in Hyderabad. The irresistible force versus the immovable object. A team that has a couple of questions to answer, against the side that has had no asterisks attached to it this season.
SRH will come hard at the Royals, of that there is no doubt and they will give it a proper rattle, despite what has happened in the last week. The Royals, like they have done all season, will stand there, undaunted by the challenge, and hoping to grow their aura of invincibility.
