This is an excellent bowling performance from RCB. But it could have been even better had they held onto their chances. Devine, opening the bowling for the first time, sent back the openers in the very first over, Schutt then followed up with the wicket of McGrath. Asha then struck a couple of times after the powerplay and reduced UPW to 31/5. RCB let them off the hook by dropping Deepti and Richa missing a stumping of Harris, the pair then added 69 in quick time and brought UPW back in the game. Perry sent back the duo in a space of three balls and that over ensured RCB restricted UPW to a below par total. Their weakest suite has delivered and now it is upto their batters.

Asha: I feel positive about my bowling. Was a good wicket with bounce, swing and spin. There was turn for spinners. For our batters, the standard we have, it should be a chaseable score. They should get it in 13-15 overs. Thank God that I've been able to play. I don't have words [to describe how good it is to get a chance] but I do feel blessed.
