Today I will post my update .

Arjun looked deep in her eyes..the whole camp is away from them but they are together exclusively..

They never got such privileges back in their past..not in Indraprasth..Hastinapur..forest...

He was always away from her..on purpose or to fight wars.

She always yearned to spend time with him but he never stopped or looked back

Arjun hugged her close and murmured...Forgive me Krishnaa

Panchali benevolently smiled and confessed..already done.

After a while

Panchali raised on her elbow and stared at his sleeping face.

She looked endearingly at his long eye lashes.Pragati got same ,long,black,curvy..

She touched the corner of his sharp nose delicately with the tip of her forefinger. He smiled and pulled her into his arms..sleep now.

Tomorrow so much journey ahead of us.

He closed his eyes but she could not ..placed her head on his hand feeling the roughness..

all through her life she tried to conceal her feelings but most of the times, she exposed her truth..

Specially when he married again and again..

How could she forget the day she heard about his acceptance of Ulupi?

Nakul was in his element..Why didn’t that Brahmin asked me to bring his cows? I didn’t remember what I was doing when Bhrata Arjun broke the rule.

Sahadev reminded him with a bit of sarcasm. You applied some lep on your face after dinner.

Bhim laughed uproriiusly. Nakul..leave it. You can not be like Arjun.roaming in forests.sleeping on the floor,unkempt hair.

Still Naga princess was enamoured by Bhrata Arjun. Nakul was desperate.

Sahadev admonished him.,.You can not be like him Nakul. He is a natural charmer..

She still remembered how furious she was on him and Ulupi who managed to break his steely resolve..

By then Yudhishtir and others married other princesses Devika,Karenumati,Jalandhara.

She went to her chamber.followed by Priyamvada who tried her best to convince her .that Arjun still loved her the most.

She was reluctant,hurt..Priyamvada tried her best..princess . You know him well..she stopped as Malini announced Samratt’s arrival.

Oh god she is reliving that hurt and those painful incidents. Please continue soo

You know I have always had this nagging doubt as to why draupadi's sons had to die in such a way......while sleeping ....without any valourous death like iravan , ghatothkach or Abhimanyu......with so much difficulties and tests that Draupadi had to undergo, couldn't they have died heroically like Abhimanyu with special mention.....It would have helped her deal with her grief much better, I think.

I never get any satisfactory resolution to this question......mostly everyone says it's fated but there is no backstory of their karma or previous birth for the Upapandavas!

What's your thoughts on this???

i guess upandavas never themselves came forward 2 show the courage which abhimanyu and ghatothkach & iravan showed , after knowing drona forming chakravayu , upandavas never came forward to protect the king Yudhisthira it was abhimanyu who risked his life , it was not only his duty to protect the king . Jaydrath stopped 4 pandavas after abhimanyu entered by blocking their way , even i praise bhim , nakul ,sahdev atleast tried to enter the chakravayu.

on day one only bhisma praised abhimanyu coz he defeated bhisma , even he head once defeated drona , karna .

Lord krishna gave same educations to abhimanyu & upandavas but abhimanyu himself earned this fame nobody gifted him this fame.

upandavas surviving 18 days war itself is a big achievement , it tells about how strong warriors were they.

it was injustice the way they were killed but it was lesson 4 draupadi that if you r burning in revenge then that revenge will burn you also as revenge don't give anyone anything , as this war was 4 dharma Draupadi 2 have sacrifice something. Draupadi never thought the outcome of this great war , she only realised it once her own sons died .

acc 2 some folktales it was curse of hidimba or gandhari 2 draupadi.

Upa Pandavas were Viswedevas born due to a curse by Viswamitra. They remained unmarried and so childless. They requested Viswamitra for redemption and hence were granted only a short life on earth.Markandeya Puran explained the reason.

But then spoke five Vishwadevas in pity, "This Vishwamitra is very wicked; what worlds will he obtain, who has uprooted this best of sacrificers from his throne? By whose funeral ceremony further shall the soma juice expressed at the great sacrifice by purified, by drinking which shall we reach the exhilaration that is preceded by incantations?" ...

Having heard their remark, the sage of the Kaushika race, exceedingly enraged, cursed them -- "Ye shall all assume human form." And propitiated by them, the great Muni added, "Although in human form, ye shall have no offspring. There shall be neither marriage nor wives for you, nor hostility: freed from love and anger ye shall be gods again." Thereupon those gods descended to the mansion of the Kurus with their own portions; they were born from the womb of Drauapdi as the five grandchildren of Pandu. Hence the five heroic Pandaveyas did not take to themselves wives, through the curse of that great Muni.

Source Markandeya Puran canto II

Viswedevas were cursed by Viswamitra because they criticised him for harassing Harischandra and his wife. They have to be born in mortal world.

They begged pardon and Viswamitra obliged. He said they will return early without having the bondage of marriage and children.

That was why they died early.and got back to their original forms.

Markandeya puran elaborately explained this in Canto II
