She sings better than many singers. And about SEGMP amd SVOI..why dont you send your favorites there..and anyways..they want to be playback singers? Indian Idol stage is not just for Playback singing..this is also for Pop star and hence Ankita is right there. She has spunk and everything in her voice for becoming a popstar. If Emon can sing , why does not he go to SRGMP? Why is he here?

This is not a show for pop singers. This is a show for singers who can perform like Abhijeet, Karunya and Amey. Is Abhijeet Sawant a pop singer? No, he is definitely a really good singer who has done playback singing. Sandeep who won the title last year wanted to become a playback singer too not a op star. Since when did this become Pop Idol?

If the shows in US and UK are for becoming Pop star..then why not Indian Idol and anyways..Abhijit has not done any playback singing ..he is just singing for albums which is kind of Indi-pop..same like Alisha's Made in India. All the albums..which these singers sing are called Indi-pop..so correct your definition of pop.

u noe y shows in UK and US are for becoming pop stars cuz der hardly is a thing as palyback singer.....how many eng movies hav u ceen wid songs in it? pop singing...styll means u need to b able to sing! n u asked y emon is here......cuz he deserves to b...y does it matter wer he is? der all singing shows...bottom line is ankita shud hav been eliminated befor deepali n if she wasnt she needs to b elmimnated now.

Abhijeet has done playback singing. He has sung a song composed by Himesh Reshammiya called marjawa, dil mein sama gayee for Sanjeev darshan and a song with Shreya Goshal. I think I know my definition of a pop singer. Abhijeet's ultimate goal is to become a playback singer if you've read his interviews.

I don't want to argue who is playback singer and who is not. This is the stage and all the contestants have the right to choose their dreams and fulfill in their own ways.
If Ankita wants to be a pop star..what is a harm in that? her singing suits more to pop star rather than playback singing.

And About Deepali..I like Deepali's singing, you cant blame Ankita for getting her voted out. Why didn't Deepali's fans vote for her?
You are saying like Ankita is the Producer/Director of show and she has right to eliminate anybody . Mind your language. I can be also offensive. And why you people are caring about Ankita..waise bhi ek na ek din sabko jana hain. So its better you waste your time supporting your favorites. We are here to support Ankita.
