then we have the side characters droning on and on about imlie and malini --- basically to drill into us that this is season 2 and how these two are essentially reincarnations of the old characters and will essentially go down the same kind of madness. 🤦

that aside, I think these characters will work if you have a pre and post leap -- where you meet when young and both utter idiots. you break up within a few episodes and then meet years later where you are mature and have to figure out each others vibe and get to know each other again -- that makes for a more interesting drama. it would also look better age wise because all actors have very mature faces and hard to take them seriously as immature younguns. 😂

as of now, the plot sounds like we have a bunch of teenagers (essentially) who are all high on wind and making dumb decisions about their life while the rest of us viewers are having our brains chewed by practicalities.

maybe good as a comedy watch? 🤷

ummm, I think I will have to skip this for my own sanity. 😂 I watched the first two eps and the only two things that were positive:

-- narmada being badass grandma with her swift rejection (fun to watch)

-- sundar actually having dialogues after months of barely saying anything. 😂

here are my random thoughts:

-- apparently imlie is so bichari that she cannot afford good clothes even though she belongs to a rich household. 🙄 is there some rule that cotton kurtas need to look so shoddy? ugh. all good tailors and boutique owners are surely getting annoyed. kekekek..

-- also imlie has no brain and lack of finish despite living in the city for so many years. very unbelievable.

-- the girl is also a bit of airhead with her ode to wind (which only makes sense if you live in a city with nice weather and trees. since much of our country is going through a bloody heatwave this year, the only wind we get is under the fan).

-- she also doesn't have a life apparently and is following her chini didi everywhere. 🤦

-- what is with -- "I don't like crowds" -- right, because you are so sanskari? 🙄🙄 then take OLA or bus and go home. or tell the driver to take you to the nearest junction or drop you at home and then do a u-turn to pick up cheeni. use some brains girl! (maybe difficult since she does not seem to have much)

-- the new male lead also has some problem in the brain cell department; have to agree with the manager -- if folks are paying 10K for a concert, he has no business giving a free concert "because he was in tune with the wind." say what again???? the wind told you to give away your music for free????? 🙄🤣

-- yes, papa atharv is right; money does not grow on trees. if atharv was starving musician, he certainly would not be giving such stupid wind dialogues and would instead be focused on trying to pay his rent. 🤦🤦 he can afford to be free because of papa's money. papa has a point.

-- so maybe imlie and arthav are both airheads and therefore, perfectly matched. they can live on wind and leave the food and money to the rest of us mortals who have to figure out practical stuff.

-- but then we have dupatta falling on chini and now a love triangle forms. why? who wears a dupatta with a dress? atharv apparently does not pay any attention to women's fashion. 😂

-- and why do we have a triangle? is there is a shortage of men?? what is with these girls all falling for the same guy? why can't they say fun dialogues (like from 'hum tum') -- "if you miss one bus, catch the next one!" -- nope, they will sit there and whine like he is the last man on earth and the human population will dry up if they do not get together with him. get a life girls!!! or better, get on some shaadi app if you are in need of a groom.

maybe I should watch on and off so I can make snarky comments? 🤣

thank you SO much!! I was waiting for someone else to have problems with this show. I am heartily hoping for this show to be off our TV sets. And the former Adilie fandom (from my quick viewing of the forum) liking the show makes me feel very disappointed. So totally coming here everyday if you are planning on continuing this snark version. I may even contribute from time to time, if I can make myself watch!!

am on a bit of a drama slump lately. so everything is on FF mode or watching through promos/previews/highlights on youtube. no energy to sit through the whole drama. youtube is the great cheatsheet! 😂

watching a few PK dramas for time pass. nothing to watch in kdrama or turkish dizis. was thinking of re-watching lie of lies (kdrama) but got distracted. might finally get around to watching dizi 'yargi' which has been on my list because the fan MVs looked so hot! checking to see if there are any lakorns but nothing catching my eye.

there is that rings of power on amazon prime -- looks pretty but such a bore.

so, am mostly watching random crime documentaries. 🤷

Duranga on Zee 5 is flower of evil adaptation.

You can give it a try if you haven't watched the original, it's interesting and good performance by the actors

cool! will check it out.

I did like flower of evil though there were times when I thought jun ki cried a bit too much and for too long. 😆 it will be interesting to see how they adapt some of the stuff to make it more desi. sometimes adaptions look so odd because they don't know how to translate some cultural aspects and it just looks like a bland foreign remake.

All said and done, Gul Khan has scored a 100 points over Rajan Shahi's in executing the 2 sisters falling for one man

The creative team has battered and bruised the 3rd generation which was exclusively brought or created for adapting IN.

We will see how she takes it further.

If the show reenters top 3 then it is a slap on DKP's face.
